Sunday is windy and cold. We had lunch and made an appointment for afternoon tea here. Closer to East Lake Park, the neighborhood is relatively deserted and less commercial. Enter the small door and go up through a hallway up to the 2nd floor. Donghu Park is the place I want to visit most in Dongmen. I want to go every time I think about it. I never understood why older people like to spend all day in the park, but now I get it. You don't have to do anything, just find a place to sit, and time flies by. Donghu Park is better than your average park. It's the largest natural lake within the Third Ring Road, covering 185 acres, with fresh air. The best part is that you can ride a jet ski in the park! You can do water sports in a city park, which is something unique to Chengdu. You wouldn't even think of it anywhere else. The scenery at Donghu is also nice. The lake is clear, and a quiet walk around it is a great mood booster. The lakeside is so quiet and relaxing, and you can hear birds chirping from time to time. It's a real treat to drink tea, take a walk, and enjoy the scenery here. Sometimes, when I see people running, playing basketball, or sunbathing, I think this is a great place to slow down. Speaking of pigeons, there are a lot of them in Donghu Park. It's fun to watch kids feed them. I've tried it myself, and although it was a little awkward, it was also relaxing. You can even ski here in winter. It's a city park, but you can do so much here. Donghu Park is like a multi-functional activity center. You can drink coffee, chat with friends, or find a corner to read a book. It feels like a part of Chengdu, and everyone can find something they like to do here. In short, Donghu Park is a place to slow down, perfect for leisure. Whether you want some peace and quiet or to get active, there's space for you here. I never want to leave when I come here. It's relaxing and comfortable, the best experience.

The purple-leaf plum trees are in full bloom! I went to Donghu Park in Jinjiang District. Navigate to Donghu Subway Station 🚇 Exit A! The flowers here are low and easy to photograph. 🌸 A large area of flowers are in bloom. There are many people taking photos on weekends. The purple-leaf plum trees in Donghu Park are finally in bloom. They are all along the river. Standing on the road to take photos is really beautiful. The trees here are quite short, and you can easily touch them. There are almost no leaves on the trees, just full branches of flowers. 2️⃣ Jinsha Riverside Park 🚇 Transportation: Metro Line 4 Qingjiang West Road Station Exit E, 15 minutes walk The purple-leaf plums in Jinsha Riverside Park grow on the slopes by the river and are very photogenic. Especially under the trees, where the park's benches are placed, sitting there is very comfortable and relaxing. In the morning, there are mostly people walking nearby, but by 9 or 10 o'clock, there are a lot of people taking photos. 3️⃣ Tianfu Software Park Area C 🚇 Transportation: Metro Line 1 Tianfu Fifth Street Station Exit C2 The purple-leaf plums in Tianfu Software Park are planted around the parking lot, growing very densely. Cars parked under the purple-leaf plum trees look very romantic. The trees here are also quite close together, and in some places, you can easily touch them. Especially on a sunny day, the purple-leaf plums can be photographed sparkling and translucent. 4️⃣ Wenjiang Kelin Road West Section 🚇 Transportation: Metro Line 4 Wansheng Station Exit A, 20 minutes walk Going down Kelin Road West Section, both sides of the road are lined with purple-leaf plum trees. The rows of trees are quite dense, and seeing such a large scale of purple-leaf plums for the first time is a bit shocking. The flowers here are all in bloom, so you can go with confidence! There's nothing to eat nearby, as it's on the roadside of an industrial park. There are small stalls at noon where you can grab something to eat. 📸【Some tips】 ① The color of the purple-leaf plum is white with a hint of purple, so try to find a dark background or the sky to highlight the flowers ② You don't have to arrive too early at Donghu Park, before 9 o'clock there are more people jogging and walking around ③ Make sure to walk to the opposite side of the river in Donghu Park, if there's no wind, you can capture the reflection of the flower trees, which is stunning. ④ The purple-leaf plum trees on Kelin Road West Section are on both sides of the main road, there are a lot of trucks, so be careful when taking photos ⑤ On cloudy days at Kelin Road West Section, you can arrive before 10:00, as there will be many cars parked under the trees on both sides of the road; on sunny days, it's better to arrive after 10:00, if you come too early, the sun won't be shining on them
