Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square Review (🇻🇳)
This is a lively and vibrant square in the Hoan Kiem district in the heart of Hanoi, Vietnam. Especially at night, the atmosphere here is full of excitement from tourists, shops, restaurants and various activities held in this wide square.
When the sky is dark, the lights from the surrounding buildings and neon signs shine brightly, making the area look beautiful and charming. There are many street shops selling souvenirs, clothes and daily necessities. Tourists and locals often gather here to walk, shop and enjoy a variety of street food. There are many restaurants and bars around the square that are open until late. You can try local food such as Pho, Banh Mi or fresh seafood. Or if you like a chill atmosphere, sit and sip Vietnamese draft beer (Bia Hoi) at a bar with a terrace overlooking the square.
At night, there are sometimes live music, dancing or street performances that add color to this area. There are also artists who come to paint and sell their work to tourists. For those who like a party atmosphere, this area has bars and clubs that open until late at night.
Safety and transportation
This area is very touristy and has security guards, making it quite safe. However, be careful of pickpockets or valuables. And it is recommended to travel by taxi or Grab for convenience and safety to return to the accommodation.

Dong Kinh Nghia Tuc Square...Hanoi
#VietnamTravel #Hanoi #Dong Kinh Nghia Tuc Square
The name is difficult, so surprisingly, most people don't know the name of the square, but when you come to Hanoi, you pass by it 100%..
Dong Kinh Nghia Tuc Square...
It's a lively square surrounding Hoan Kiem..
You can see many tourists and locals taking pictures. It's a good place to rest on a bench or meet up. There are many coffee shops, restaurants, etc. around, and there are many things to see and do nearby.
During the week, it's a very crowded street with cars, taxis, and motorbikes that really don't need traffic lights! However, from Friday evening to the weekend, vehicle movement is prohibited, so you can walk leisurely.
I definitely recommend visiting on the weekend.
