But the view from the top is worth every step! This is a perfect way to end the year-end trip of 2024 for me. It was a very worthwhile 2 days and 1 night, both tiring but fun. Doi Luang-Doi Nok is located in Doi Luang National Park, Phayao Province, at an altitude of 1,694 meters above sea level. It takes about 10 kilometers to reach the tent site. The distance is quite steep, mostly uphill, but there is still some flat roads to catch your breath. My friends and I traveled for about 5 hours. (Very tiring) and had to carry our own stuff because there are only a limited number of porters here. But luckily, the sunrise and sunset viewing point is nearby. The tent site means we don’t have to walk far. Day 2: Conquer the summit of Doi Nok We headed to the highest point of “Doi Nok”, which has a large, distinctive rock. Climbing up requires a lot of willpower and leg strength, but when we reached the top… it was amazing! Panorama The widest view, the morning light hitting the mountain makes all the tiredness disappear in the blink of an eye. Ready to worship and pray to the Buddha to the fullest. On the way back, it is all downhill, no uphill.
