📍Location: ✅Right next to Dishuidanping Scenic Area. It's 50 meters from the fork at the entrance. I think Dishuidanping is the most convenient place to stay on Weizhou Island. It has the most beautiful sunset views, plenty of dining options, and is very popular (I'll post a Weizhou Island guide later). ✅Ocean views from the B&B. Second and third floors have direct sunset views. It seems like there is construction going on right in front of the B&B (building a new B&B?). It affects the ocean view from the hotel. 🍃Environment: ✅The courtyard is not big, but it's full of blooming flowers and lush greenery. It's a great place to take photos day and night. ✅There's a viewing terrace on the second floor. After longing for Beihai Weizhou Island, I finally set foot on this land amidst great anticipation. The scenery here is indeed breathtaking, and due to the limited number of people allowed on the island, it feels particularly quiet. At night, the streets are almost empty, so quiet that it feels a bit eerie. The trip was scheduled from May 1st to 5th. For transportation, I first traveled from Guangzhou South to Beihai, then took a ferry. I chose a hotel that offered free pier shuttle service (provided by the owner), which also had a swimming pool, quite distinctive. On the island, you can choose to ride tuk-tuks, but we opted to rent electric bikes, which allowed us to roam freely (charged by the day). The weather was sunny, perfect for a morning swim in the hotel pool. I don't recommend going out at noon when the sun is too strong, unless you're visiting some attractions. It's better to go out again from 3 to 4 pm, very leisurely and comfortable. We visited attractions like Crocodile Hill, Dripping Water Danping, Colorful Beach, Shell Beach, Shiluokou, and the Catholic Church. We also arranged a day at sea: taking the Da Fei to the yacht area, then boarding a yacht to experience some water activities. The sea trip was rather dull, and the water quality was just average. We only played with the glass-bottom boat and snorkeling. I honestly don't recommend going out to sea; it's enough to enjoy the island.
