Dingzhou Gongyuan is located in Caochang Hutong, East Street, Dingzhou City, Hebei Province. Dingzhou Gongyuan is the well-preserved Qing Dynasty scientific research site in my country. In the third year of Qianlong's reign in the Qing Dynasty, Dingzhou Gongyuan was established by the state shepherd Wang Danian. In the 12th year of Daoguang, the state shepherd Wang Zhonghuai persuaded the people to donate to the people, and the site was expanded, rebuilt, and built, forming a large-scale examination room. The Gongyuan is square in plan, and the main building is composed of two groups of buildings: No. House and Kui Pavilion. The house faces the mountain. The Kui Pavilion is located in the south of the house, with a spire in the middle, and the two sides are lowered in turn, forming a peculiar appearance and becoming a prominent feature of the Dingzhou Gongyuan. The second-floor attic in the Kui Pavilion is the place where "Kui Xing" is enshrined. The lobby is next to the north of the hall, where candidates hand in their papers and examiners seal them. The back building is where the examiners watch the martial arts competition, and it is also used as accommodation. Dingzhou Gongyuan has a large-scale building and a solemn and majestic momentum. It not only reflects the architectural characteristics of the Qing Dynasty, but also has the flexibility of local architecture.
