Dinghai Ancient City is a thousand-year-old ancient city with a long history and many historical sites. It is also a famous island cultural city in China. The ancient city once preserved the historical blocks of Zhongdajie, Xidajie, Dongdajie, Chaishuinong, Liufang Road and other historical blocks from the Ming and Qing Dynasties. There are many ancient monuments scattered around, leaving the footprints of talented people and celebrities from past dynasties. Historically, this place has always been a military fortress. In addition to the war against the British, there are also a number of historical relics of the war against the Japanese and the Qing Dynasty. Dinghai is a gathering place of talents, and nearly 100 celebrities such as Zhu Baoshan, Liu Hongsheng, and Dong Haoyun have emerged in history. Zhongxi Street: It is a very famous old street in Dinghai. The growth process of Dinghai, a famous historical and cultural city, is remembered in the body of the old street. The old street is not wide, with layers of old houses on both sides, and century-old shops lined up one by one. The slightly curved old street seems to have no end, like a girl bending down charmingly when she can't help laughing, full of charm, and the stone road full of footprints of generations of ancestors is still so clean and appropriate. Ming and Qing Historical Street: Dinghai's West Street and Middle Street were commercial streets in the late Qing Dynasty. The street was 4 or 5 meters wide, which was considered a real commercial street at that time. There are two-story wooden fire-proof walls, and the eaves corridor on the second floor was a place to overlook the prosperous scenery of the street. Zuyin Temple: Located on Changguo Road, Dinghai, it is known as the "First Ancient Zen Forest in Wengzhou", covering an area of nearly 10,000 square meters. It was first built in the fifth year of Tianfu in the Later Jin Dynasty. Later, it was renovated several times to form a large Buddhist temple on Zhoushan Island. Late Qing Dynasty mansions: Dinghai Liufang Lane, Shuyuan Lane, Chaishui Lane, Dongguanmiao Lane, West Street, Changguo Road area, there are many former residences with peculiar shapes such as Lan Li's former residence, Dong Haoyun's former residence, Liu Hongsheng's former residence, etc. The brackets, gates, halls, doors and windows, and caissons here are all unique.
