When traveling to Hong Kong, Hong Kong-style dim sum is an absolute must-try Hong Kong delicacy. I like eating Hong Kong-style dim sum very much. When it comes to rankings of cuisines from various places, apart from Japanese food, Hong Kong-style dim sum is definitely at the top! In addition to Tim Ho Wan, I also recommend this dim sum dim sum specialty store which has four branches in Hong Kong (it also has a branch in Taipei😆). Firstly, the price is cheap and the environment is good. Secondly, the dim sum taste is not as good as before. Featuring all the local food we ate in Land of Dim Sum: Hong Kong 1. Dim Dim Sum (Mongkok) Yummy dim sum, food is served relatively fast and we love the Chee Cheong Fun skin wrapped with crispy prawn roll. 2. Bai Wei Shi Pin (Argyle Centre) Located within the ground floor of Argyle Centre, it sell cold noodles, mixed with add on ingredients (each ingredient is HK5) and sauce. It is a local street snack not to be missed! 3. Bakehouse (Central branch) Highly raved and popular egg tarts made with sourdough crust. The queue is pretty long but it moves quite fast. 4. Vision Bakery Located just near the Bakehouse, it serves pretty good pastries. We ordered the Pistachio Custard Danish, Tiramisu Danish, Banoffee Puff and Cinnamon Monkey Bread. The pastries is 😋 and we specially loved the Pistachio Custard Danish. The filling is runny and every mouth is delicious. 5. Good Hope Cafe Famous for the wanton mee, the cafe has won the Michelin for its wanton mee. The noodles is handmade and doesn’t have the alkaline taste of the yellow noodles. I had a fantastic dim sum experience at Dim Dim Sum in Mong Kok, and two dishes, in particular, stood out. #2024wish My 2024 travel wish is to visit Hong Kong. I will like to try out their food there. I will like to visit their lantau island and their Disney land there too. My to go dim sum place would be dim dim sum. The wide selections of dim sum, together with the great price is what has been making us come back for more. The place might be crowded but the staff manages it well. The food was served swiftly and the process was fast and smooth. I like their shrimp dumplings which are very tasty and flavourful. Their other fried dim sum is also a must try too. I am truly satisfied with the quality and the price paid.
