Zhengzhou's 100 Free Treasure Scenic Spots—Butterfly Lake Park
This is a beautiful camping site symbolizing love!
Among the popular check-in spots in Zhengzhou, Butterfly Lake is an unavoidable destination. The scenery around Butterfly Lake is quite beautiful, making it an excellent place for dating, camping, and leisure.
Butterfly Lake is located in the middle and lower reaches of the Chao River, also known as the Caogusi Reservoir. The lake is the main feature here, with nearly ten islands of various sizes on it. Around the lake and islands, there are scenic spots such as the Ring Bridge, Lake Viewing Platform, Lotus Viewing Walkway, Scenic Viewing Platform, Children's Beach, Cloud Top Garden, Cherry Blossom Lake, Bamboo Path, Fayun Temple, Magpie Corridor, and Art Restaurant. The entire park is divided into several areas with different styles according to their orientation. In the middle of the lake, there is a drawbridge called Butterfly Lake Bridge. The bridge is all white, and the middle part is a large ring, which looks like a huge ring from the front, so locals like to call it the Ring Bridge. Because of the symbolism of the ring, this bridge has become a famous love landmark in Zhengzhou, and Butterfly Lake has thus become a popular dating spot for couples, with many girls and couples coming here specifically for photos.
The southwest corner of Butterfly Lake is the Children's Beach, also known as the Golden Sand Beach, with a water-friendly platform and a riverside convenience station nearby. The area of this beach is neither too large nor too small, with sun umbrellas set up inside. Visitors can drink coffee, chat, or enjoy the lake view under the sun umbrellas, giving a strong impression of a seaside beach.
