It is such a city, built on the mountain and surrounded by rivers on three sides, but it is the place where Mongke Khan, who dominated the Eurasian continent during the Southern Song Dynasty, fell. Because of the emperor's death, the prince who was fighting abroad withdrew his troops to seize the throne, otherwise the history of Egypt might have to be rewritten, after all, the Mongolian iron cavalry at that time was a daunting presence in the Eurasian continent. Listening to Teacher Wang's introduction, I suddenly felt that visiting historical sites was more meaningful, so I took a taxi directly to the Fishing City in Hechuan. The foggy day with rain has few tourists, the road up the mountain is relatively flat, and there are buses to ride that can save some mountain roads, we chose to walk down the mountain on the way back, and you can also see the scenery along the way. There are nearly ten scenic spots in the Fishing City, including several museum exhibition halls, telling the miracles that happened here during the Southern Song Dynasty. The unique geographical environment, the city is self-sufficient in life, the combination of military and civilian, the city wall built to resist foreign enemies. Now the empty schoolyard can vaguely feel the scene of the soldiers training here, especially when walking to the National Guard Gate, the moment of beating the drum 🥁, the scene of the drum cheering and thousands of horses rushing into the mind. We were thinking about catching the 3 pm cruise, so the tour was rushed, but it was really hasty to take a cursory look at such a city of miracles. If time permits, you can take a break in the tea house imitating the Song Dynasty between each scenic spot, and see the stone quarrying work of the people at that time. But the most ideal is to understand this history before coming, it will be more touching.
