📌 DESTUHL YEONHUI (데스툴 연희)
1.
When you walk along the streets of Yeonhui-dong, you'll come across 'Destuhl', a cafe inspired by a German art school motif. It is said that it was established when the owner, during their stay in Germany, was deeply impressed by an art academy.
'De Stuhl' (Der Stuhl) means 'the chair' in German, and just as each person sitting in the same place has their own unique thoughts and emotions, this space is designed to be filled with diverse possibilities.
2.
The entire second floor of the building is dedicated to the cafe space. As you ascend the stairs, you'll see an open wooden coffee bar without any barriers. It was conceptualized with the idea of seamlessly blending workers and customers together.
The modern and clean interior with its diverse color scheme gives off vibes reminiscent of a furniture showroom or an art gallery.
They collaborate with different brands every month for various themed pop-ups and exhibitions, offering visitors the opportunity to experience something new each time they visit. If you're in Yeonhui-dong, we highly recommend stopping by!
