Dayang Lake
Quiet lake for calm water sports. Part of the boat trip excursion (Island Hopping) took us here. There is a fee to enter the lake area, where you're able to do Jet ski, kayaking, boating, swimming, and other water sports.
Breathtaking view. Lake water is cooling. Don’t forget to rent the life jacket for rm2 only if you intend to swim. Be careful of monkeys. It will snatch your bags. Make sure to hold your bag tight.

[Malaysia] The mysterious island of Langkawi!
Malaysia's paradise, Langkawi Island, is a resort island with beautiful beaches and untouched nature 🏖️🌿 We arrived after a one-hour flight from Kuala Lumpur, and from the moment we landed, we were enveloped in a laid-back tropical atmosphere 🌞🌴
The first place we visited was the island's symbol, the Langkawi Sky Bridge 🌉✨ It is a curved suspension bridge that spans the top of Mount Macinchan, 700 meters above sea level, and offers a spectacular view of the jungle and sea below! The Sky Cab (ropeway) takes you straight to the top of the mountain, and the thrilling experience of crossing the bridge was truly spectacular 😲⛰️
And if you want to relax, I recommend "Cenang Beach" 🏝️🌊 You can spend your time relaxing on the white sand beach, or enjoy a variety of activities such as jet skiing and parasailing 🚤🎉 At dusk, I was moved by the fantastic sight of the beautiful sunset dyeing the sea orange 🌅💛
Langkawi is also known as the "Mysterious Island," and there are many spots where legends remain 🕌✨ At the legendary lake "Dayang Bunting," you can swim in a mysterious freshwater lake surrounded by forest, and feel as if you've wandered into the depths of the jungle 🌿🏊♂️
Langkawi Island, where you can enjoy nature, activities, and a relaxing time 🏝️✨ It was a truly healing trip to Malaysia's hidden paradise 💙🌺

Langkawi Pregnant Island Half Day Tour
Pulau Dayang Bunting Half Day Island Hopping Tour in Langkawi is a journey that combines natural beauty with relaxing exploration. After arriving at Pregnant Maiden Island by boat, the first thing that catches your eye is the lush green forest and the legendary freshwater lake - Lake of the Pregnant Maiden. Walk along the trail for about 10 minutes to reach the lake. The lake water is clear and visitors can choose to swim, ride a swan boat or quietly appreciate the surrounding nature. It is said that the lake has magical powers and can bring good luck to those who want to have children. In addition to Pulau Singa Besar, island hopping trips usually include visiting Eagle Island (Pulau Singa Besar) to watch eagles foraging, or going to Pulau Beras Basah to enjoy the fine white sand beach and sea water. Langkawi Pregnant Lake, the tranquil beauty of a natural lake in the mountains.
The Pregnant Lake (Tasik Dayang Bunting) in Langkawi is a quiet place gifted by nature, hidden among the mountains, like a paradise. The lake gets its name from a local legend that the outline of the mountains surrounding the lake resembles a reclining pregnant woman. The Pregnant Lake is surrounded by lush tropical rainforest, making people feel as if they are in a quiet natural world, far away from the hustle and bustle.
The lake water is so clear that you can see the bottom, making people want to explore the underwater world. The natural scenery by the lake is refreshing. Visitors can choose to swim or row a boat here and enjoy the leisurely time between the mountains and water. It is said that this lake is regarded as a special symbol, especially for women who want to give birth to life.
Pregnant Woman Lake is one of the must-visit attractions on Langkawi island hopping tour, allowing you to experience the mystery and pure beauty of nature.

🏖️ Ambiance/Facilitieisland hopping is a must to do tour in Langkawi. The boat tour will take to one of paradise islands of Langkawi. 🏝
After you climb few stairs up the hill in the stunning view of the island, you will be able to find out about a magical lake inside the island (Dayang Buntik Lake) 🏞
Actually the lake was formed from the underground water. So, it's not salty, it's rather sweet water. It is not easy to float that's why you need a life jacket to swim there.🦺
🛶 You may also rent the kayak and enjoy which was the reason why I went there.
There's another island where you can swim 🏊♂️ and try scuba diving, the tropical fish will be around when you are swimming.
🤿 Better bring your scuba diving glasses otherwise you need to rent them.
🤫 secret: swimming at the lake is not free, but swimming at the beach is always free!
🦅 The tour to the island will also give you the chance to see the eagles of Langkawi. It is also called Brahminy kites, they really fly like a kite, and you can see them diving from the sky to feed on the dead fish in the sea.

Lake of the Pregnant Maiden
The island, which is about 20 kilometres from Kuah town, is modestly populated on one side and virtually uninhabited on the other where the lake is situated.
The legend of Tasik Dayang Bunting goes like this: The favourite bathing pool of a celestial princess named Mambang Sari was said to be Tasik Dayang Bunting (Lake of the Pregnant Maiden). A prince, Mat Teja, fell madly in love with her and tricked her into marrying him.
Sadly, their child died from a mysterious illness at the age of seven days. Distraught, the grieving Mambang Sari left the child’s body in the lake and returned to her heavenly abode. Today, some believe that barren women who bathe in this lake will be endowed with a child. Lets check it out....
