Dataran Bandaraya Johor Bahru is a historic landmark in the middle of the city 🏙️ in JB. It's a venue for celebration of Malaysia's Independence Day every year and any other carnival activities or government related event being held here. Jom Heboh Karnival which is a yearly event hosted by Media Prima used to be held here before they changed the venue to Iskandar Puteri nowadays. This place will be so crowded and happening with so many vendors and stalls being set up and there's a lot of fun activities we can join. #newyearadventure Johor Bahru City Square Shopping Mall is located at Jalan Wong Ah Fook, Bandar Johor Bahru, 80000 Johor Bahru, and is open daily from 1000-2200. This lovely mall was opened in 1999, just a bridge away from the customs and immigration checkpoint, with around 300 retailers, and offers a host of fashion, entertainment and restaurants. One of the main attractions of City Square is that it features various shops that fulfill peoples needs, from groceries, books, fashion and many more for you to discover. After a day of shopping and walking, there are no shortage of restaurants for your foods cravings and spa to pamper you.

When I was there, I saw that the Mr men and little miss is having a collaboratyions with the typo. They do sell a range of mugs and other accessories. Cotton on qlso partnered with little miss and Mr men to introduce a new range of shirts to target those who are in love with the little miss and Mr men design. The gong Cha is located at level 3 of the mall. Their exact location is near the entrance of the inner city. There are seats available for you to enjoy your drinks. The sitting area can accommodate up to 12 people at one time. The price is definitely cheaper than buying from Singapore. I tried out the grapefruit green tea. It was very refreshing and I love the taste of it. It was not overly sweet. It is really very enjoying having a sip of cold tea under the hot weather. it's been awhile to walk around in ciyu square Johor Bahru after Movement control due to pandemic. Everything seem back normal now. You could see some people could just not wearing mask now.! The shops have reopened major tenants remained. Same shopping 🛍 n dining options are open readily to welcome shoppers. Hopefully more anchored tenants will return. Much credit must be given to the owner and/or management for maintain and upkeeping the mall very, very well. Everything was clean and neat. The toilets were fabulous. On the whole, we’re pleased with the place. Eating our lunch and dinner there was great. We got Korea food there and actually it's cheaper than Korean shop outside around. #本地遊#deliciousfood#foodie

#createwithtrip Traveling abroad, if you don't stop by the mall, it's not complete. It feels like traveling... in Johor, there is a mall that is unique and interesting. Johor Baru City Square is the name. Located along the bustling main street of Jalan Wong Ah Fook. Due to its proximity to the Johor–Singapore Connecting Road, City Square attracts a large number of shoppers from Singapore. The mall is cool, let alone make a photo background for memories when we played there. When you shop at Johor Baru City Square Mall, don't forget to take a photo at every corner of the mall with a cute and cool background. very creative idea from the creator.

I do remember when I first saw the rope biscuit. I love it from the very first moment when I bite it. It is crispy and floury. Subsequently, during my secondary days, my school brought us on a peranakan trip to Malacca. Again we were brought to the local confectionery factory to do some shopping. I have purchased the rope biscuit. From the shop I get to know more about Malaysia's other locally made snacks such as the chestnut biscuits, the chicken Biscuits, and the wife biscuit. The chicken biscuit has since been my favourite as it is crispy and sweet in taste. Once you have your first bite, you won't stop eating another one. #celebratewithtrip #tripblazers

In addition, there is even a small mart just across the street at the basement carpark area. Some of the dining choices include the sushi king, secret recipe, SDS , sushi king, auntie Annie, and fried chicken. Each of the restaurants are serving a different category of food. They are the Thai Odyssey and the Siam oasis. Both offer Thai traditional massage and the prices are very reasonable. They offer massages from head to toes. It would be worth it to join their all in one massage instead of ordering it also carte. The price for a 5 in 1 massage (head, shoulder, back, foot, foot soak) cost less than 100 MYR for a 60 minutes massage. This is really very worth compared to the pricing in Singapore where you pay 60sgd for a 60 minute body massage. There are at least six beauty salons there. The price range is affordable starting from 35myr for a men's haircut and wash. It is really a very good bargain. Do compare the prices before making your decisions. Do book for an appointment if you are coming on a weekend as the salon would be very crowded when the people from Singapore drive in to have their hair done.
