The Daraga Church, officially known as the Our Lady of the Gate Parish Church, is a Catholic church located in Daraga, Albay, in the Bicol Region of the Philippines. It is situated on a hill overlooking the city of Legazpi and provides a panoramic view of Mayon Volcano.
The church is known for its baroque architecture and is considered one of the most beautifully preserved churches in the Philippines. It was built in 1773 by Franciscan friars and is dedicated to Our Lady of the Gate, the patroness of the town.

You can se
You can see the volcano by pushing open the window door. This church is also awesome!
There are hundreds of churches in every city in the Philippines. The most famous of the cities in Legaz is the Daraga Church. This black and white mottled church is clearly visible in the city of Legazpi. A very special church, even better, open the door and open the window, you can see the Mayon volcano in the distance.
Maybe there will be a wedding here, the church is being arranged, and the light and elegant flowers are filled with the whole church.
Cloudy weather is really helpless. The church is actually a good place to appreciate the fire, but most of the volcanoes are hidden in the clouds. Fortunately, we stayed for two days, and on the last day, let us witness the clear Mayon volcano in the church.
