Boarding month: August 2022 Airline: ANA Route: HNL→NRT Aircraft: A380-800 / JA382A Seat: First class On the return flight, I was so focused on the food that I could hardly say I was looking forward to it more than anything, so I told the flight attendant about it and thoroughly enjoyed it 😋 After takeoff, as soon as the seatbelt signs were turned off, I started eating 🍽 I had pre-ordered the Western food (meat) from the Japanese, Western, and Western fish options. The amuse-bouche consisted of four types of dishes: sesame cheese balls, crab meat salad topped with salmon roe, roast beef roll, and cheese pepper bar. I can't drink alcohol, but ANA First is all about KRUG champagne, so I just took a picture of the bottle 😅 (The champagne glasses were kindly provided by the flight attendant) Next was the appetizer. I ordered two, as the portions per dish were not that large☝️ - Green pea mousse with caviar A true first class look😆 Moderately salty caviar with a touch of refreshing lemon juice Put on a small piece of bread and enjoy. I was very satisfied with the rare taste that is typical of first class! - Capricorn brunch The plump shrimp was very satisfying🦐 And the main dish. The US prime beef fillet steak was served to my liking, and it was very tender and juicy👍 The truffle-flavored red wine sauce was not too strong and had a good balance, and while in-flight steaks can be quite hit or miss, this one was exceptionally delicious😊 I was full, but I had dessert at the end🍨 With petit fours and coffee. I thoroughly enjoyed my first first class in-flight meal for about 2 hours✨ Of course, this wasn't the end, and the second meal started 3 hours before arrival😆 First, I wanted to try the ANA original curry🍛 I asked for less rice, but it was very filling. It was filled with large cuts of beef and mushrooms, and was delicious and filling👍 Next, after consulting with the flight attendant, I chose what I wanted to eat from the a la carte menu as well as the Japanese menu that was in stock😋 《From the Japanese menu》 Soup: Grilled swordfish Sashimi: Seared yellowtail, seared squid, button shrimp yushimo Small bowl: Eel and zaku Hot dish: Beef loin in a small pot 《From the a la carte》 Red snapper seaweed chazuke Matcha (Itoen) and yokan Are they serving something this good on a plane? The Japanese cuisine is so delicious that you can even eat elegant sashimi, which is one of the strengths of Japanese people◎ I was surprised at how big the eel in the small bowl was🙈 I finished off with matcha and yokan, and my stomach was so full I couldn't eat any more, but I'm so happy that I was able to achieve my goal😊 Thank you for the delicious meal! Boarding month: August 2022 Airline: ANA Route: NRT → HNL Aircraft: A380-800 / JA382A Seat: Business class Departing for Hawaii✈️ I was able to board the long-awaited Flying Honu with a reward ticket! In addition, this was my first time boarding an A380, so this flight is commemorative in many ways. When the boarding gate branches depending on the booking class, the higher class would normally go to the left, but on the ANA A380, where the first floor is economy class only, the second floor seats go to the right😆 The staggered design of the business class with aisle access for all seats, I really like the bright space😊 The seat was spacious and private, and I had reserved the window seat 7A, which had the best window position, so I was able to spend a very comfortable time✈️ The monitor is an 18-inch touch panel type. But it's far from the seat, so I had to use a remote control ✋ At first I was worried, "Huh? There aren't many buttons?" but it turns out that you can move the cursor by sliding your finger 📱 The big screen is more impressive and beautiful ✨ Amenities included Fred Segal, eye masks, Honueko bags, etc. Because the A380 has a large number of passengers, boarding starts early, and in business class this time, it took about 50 minutes from boarding time (19:32) to departure time (20:21) 😲 Thanks to that, I was able to take photos around my seat, which I was personally grateful for 😁 The flight to Hawaii was about 7 hours 🌏 The three sacred treasures (pillow, mattress pad, and duvet) were included so I used them to make the bed 🛌 It's great to be able to stretch my legs out! I think the feeling of the soft rocking was directly conveyed to me 🤔 I can't sleep well on planes, so I couldn't sleep well, but my body was much more tired◎ As we entered landing mode, the view of Oahu was below me. We rented a limousine to get from Honolulu Airport to the city! It was surprisingly cheap, less than $100, so I recommend it if you're traveling with a group of multiple people. I made a reservation for my son and I with two suitcases. We were able to use the car as scheduled and the driver was kind, but the car that arrived was bigger than we had reserved and of course had a different car number than the one we had been told in advance, and to top it off, a Japanese couple had already boarded. We hadn't been told that we were sharing the car, so we were put in the narrow third-row seat and felt uneasy until we arrived at our destination.

#CanadaFlightEvent This is Honolulu Airport. Usually, most international flights to Hawaii arrive here, and some take domestic flights to other islands. It's clean and well-organized, and the Star Alliance lounge isn't that big, but the chairs are more comfortable than the food. It was nice to rest. It would be good to check the location of each lounge.

The flight from Kansai Airport to Hawaii in Hawaiian Airlines' Comfort Seats was outstanding in terms of comfort and service. With more legroom than normal seats and the ability to recline, you can relax even on long journeys. There is also priority boarding and additional amenities, which added to the special feeling of the trip. Honolulu Airport is the main airport to serve the Honolulu area in Hawaii. If you are departing from the airport then I would recommend that you take some extra time to visit the outdoor cultural gardens. It is a completely open space with lots of water features, small animals and beautiful decorations. It can be accessed on the ground floor and you cannot see any planes or hear them so it’s like you’re not in an airport!

My backpack went from 60 liters to 40 liters to 29 liters and I just gave that one to Olga...I'm headed toward international travel with a daypack! Travel Hack: Technically we can still have 7-10 kilos in personal bag/item allowance on most flights, then we try to wear a jacket if traveling thru multiple climates, and oh yeah, wear a fanny pack. Cabin bags (carry-ons) offer a bit more luggage space, but also can come with a fee these days. Finally, check-in bags can add $100 to ticket price, so we seldom do it. Keep it light and buy what you need as you travel; shopping is still a fun pastime, even for budget travelers like us. I flew Hawaiian Airlines for the first time and went to Hawaii 🙆‍♀️ They played Hawaiian music, the in-flight meals and snacks were delicious, and they even came with Honolulu cookies, so it was great to get into the Hawaiian mood 🫶 The eye mask and earphones came in a cute bag, and the blankets had a cute logo on them! My first experience in first class🔰 Of course, I used an award ticket. I walked down the red carpet from the lounge and was the first person in Group 1 to board first class😳 ANA's A380 first class has a total of eight seats, and on this day, seven seats were filled except for the one next to me, showing just how popular it was! It's a completely special space and my heart is beating fast 🔔 The layout is 1-2-1, so if you are a married couple or a couple, the middle row is best, but of course I chose a window seat 🙋‍♂️ There are about three windows for one seat, so it's very spacious and the calming feel of the seat colors is also nice ✨ It is said to be a space that pursues livability and functionality, and it is exactly as you would expect when you say that it is a secure sense of privacy ◎ The large 32-inch LCD screen is also impressive, and it was very luxurious ~ 😀 Amenities include blankets, cardigans, and relaxing wear, and you can take home the relaxing wear made from 100% organic cotton 🎁 Many people change into it immediately after boarding! The pouch is Globe Trotter 👝 In addition to the usual in-flight goods, it also comes with THE GINZA Essence Empowering Set, which is great for skin care. Inouye Airport, Honolulu, Oahu✈️ This lounge has also reopened with the Flying Honu service from July 2022, and the honu-patterned lounge name is very adorable😊 If you are in first class, you would normally use the ANA Suite Lounge, but since this is still closed, all eligible users could only enter the ANA Lounge😌 (The Suite Lounge will also reopen at the end of October 2022) Right in front of Gate C4, where the A380 departs and arrives. The space inside the building is wide and you can see outside, so it feels open, and the design that combines Japanese and Hawaiian styles is also very nice✨ Even the kids' corner in the back is stylish! Flight month: August 2022 Airline: ANA Route: NRT→HNL Aircraft: A380-800 / JA382A Seat: Business Class One of the pleasures of being on board is the food 🙋‍♂️ After the seatbelt signs were turned off, drinks and amuse-bouches were served 🕰 The amuse-bouches on this day were sesame and walnut sticks, and marinated gizzard and celery. By the way, the drink was my original cocktail 🍸 ANA's specialty fragrant kabosu mixed with ginger ale, and I prefer 7 parts kabosu and 3 parts ginger ale. The CA made it well, and it was layered very beautifully ✨ And then the main dish appeared 😎 You can choose between Japanese and Western food, and I reserved Japanese food in advance, which turned out to be a great choice◎ Actually, I had originally reserved Western food. However, after looking at photos from people who had actually experienced it, I decided to change to Japanese food as the Western food was not very appealing. The meal was very colorful and visually pleasing 😋 I was able to spend a blissful time tasting each dish. The main dish of beef with aromatic miso was also soft and delicious with its large cuts of meat 👍 After a nap, we were served a light meal about 2 hours before arrival. The menu was tandoori chicken sandwiches, fruit, and oikos. While this sandwich was packed with ingredients, it was a shame that the bread was cold and dry. I probably should have ordered soup. I think I should have ordered soup. The in-flight meals you enjoy on international routes are on a higher level when you're in business class, and they're exceptional. And, although I'm embarrassed to say this at my age, I decided to buy a stuffed toy of the aircraft as a souvenir and take it to Hawaii, so I bought Kai-kun only from the in-flight sales. (If you use an ANA card, you get 10% off and it's 2,700 yen.) I also took a commemorative photo of the aircraft flying towards the morning sun and Kai-kun. Honolulu International Airport for the first time in two years There were still fewer people than usual, and the duty-free shops selling cosmetics and souvenirs were open, but all the brand-name stores were closed except for Hermes.
