Escape the summer heat in Yunnan's eternal spring city, Menghai
Menghai County may not be a popular tourist city, but it is the birthplace of Yunnan Pu'er tea, China's number one Pu'er tea county, and a true rainforest spring city. It boasts the largest resort area in Xishuangbanna, Mengbala, which is full of ethnic minority characteristics. The summer temperature is over 20 degrees Celsius, very cool. Manhe Big Buddha Temple
There is also the famous Manhe Big Buddha Temple in the urban area, which has the largest reclining Buddha in Xishuangbanna. Adjacent to it is Menghai's number one holy spring, with clear water that you can see to the bottom. The spring water, which has a history of a hundred years, makes the Pu'er tea brewed with it even more delicious.
Mengbala Rainforest Town
At an altitude of 1200 meters, the summer temperature is a cool and comfortable 20-plus degrees Celsius. The town is like a mini Southeast Asia, with a mini Mekong River flowing through, and Dai, Thai, and Burmese-style buildings integrated into one.
