I rented a bicycle and started my trip around Erhai Lake. Cycling along the lake, I saw continuous mountains and golden rice fields on both sides. From time to time, I could see Bai people working in the fields. I stopped at Xizhou Ancient Town, feeling the historical charm of the ancient town and tasting local snacks.
Noon: Leisurely lunch in Xizhou Ancient Town
I found a restaurant with Bai style in the ancient town and ordered a bowl of crossing-the-bridge rice noodles and roasted milk fan. The rice noodles were fragrant, and the milk fan was crispy outside and tender inside. Paired with local dishes, it was delicious.
Afternoon: Visit Erhai Park and get close to nature
After lunch, I went to Erhai Park. Here, I took a cable car to Cangshan Mountain and overlooked the whole Erhai Lake. In autumn, Cangshan Mountain is full of red leaves, forming a sharp contrast with the clear lake water of Erhai Lake.
Evening: Sunset by the sea, romantic time
At sunset, I returned to the hotel in Shuanglang. At this moment, Erhai Lake was as calm as a mirror, reflecting the sunset glow in the sky. I sat quietly on the balcony, watching the clouds in the sky gradually turn golden, feeling the tranquility and romance.
