The view from the second floor is particularly good, with greenery visible from the window. The osmanthus tree in the courtyard is growing well, lush and green. Watching the rain outside the window fall on the osmanthus leaves, then slide down the eaves and onto the bluestone slabs of the courtyard. You can take stunning Chinese-style photos by the window without even stepping outside. I never thought rainy Dali could be so beautiful. Location: Located in a quiet alley on Pingdeng Road, Ancient Town, the hotel is in a great location, quiet yet convenient, just a few minutes' walk from Beimen Market and Beimen. There are many local restaurants nearby, as well as many small, niche, artistic cafes, grocery stores, and two great bookstores - Wild Grapefruit and Poetry and Wine Club. Rooms: Many of the furniture in the rooms are designed with old local wood from Dali, which is very textured and photogenic. Liuyue·Dali Baiju Art Seaview Hotel Stayed in both 'Yunqi' and 'Linhai' room types. The reception hall is very small, and you need to wait at the village entrance for someone to pick up your luggage and then walk six minutes to the hotel. This place is really photogenic, the butler service is top-notch, but the hardware facilities are average, not up to the standard of over 2000 yuan. The sunset photos on the first floor and the basement are absolutely stunning. Yunqi is a double room for 2200+, on the third floor, with an unobstructed 360° view for photos, a bathtub, a balcony with a lounge chair, and the room is very quiet. Linhai is a twin room for 1800+, on the first floor, without a bathtub or lounge chair, the balcony photos have a touch of water, you can hear children shouting in the lobby in the morning, breakfast, afternoon tea, fruit basket, and souvenirs are provided. There is a free travel photo shoot that I didn't take. The public areas for photos are on the first floor, basement, and fourth floor. It is recommended to go early to reserve a spot for the sunset. Dali Kongxiang·Dongsheng Guofeng Design Resort Courtyard Located in Dali Ancient City, the room type booked is 'No. 5' 45 square meters 600+ RMB. This small suite is amazing, very very comfortable, with an enlarged mattress and pillows. I slept the best here, very quiet. Outside the room, there is a small sunroom table where you can smoke. The staff's attitude and service are very good. Next door is the police station, which gives a strong sense of security, hahaha. Dali's B&Bs are really competitive, with attention to detail. The downside is the intelligent temperature control in the shower room, which is a bit tricky to handle, maybe I'm too clumsy. Tips: Every hotel in Shuanglang has afternoon tea for photos. There's no need to blindly pursue seaview rooms, many of which are five-star prices with three-star configurations. Shuanglang is currently the most expensive place, with nothing much to do. Two nights are enough. The most annoying thing in hotels is children shouting and no one managing them. Some hotels prohibit children from staying, you can search for those.
