The temple was destroyed during the Cultural Revolution, and the temple you see today was rebuilt in modern times under the auspices of Master Hsing Yun. The main road of Dajue Temple is in the shape of "D", and the gate is at the left end of the horizontal line of "D". From west to east, from the temple gate to the pagoda, it forms a horizontal line of the character "D". From north to south, from the Guanyin Hall to the Daxiong Hall, it forms a vertical line of the "Ding" character. The lotus pond in front of the Guanyin Hall is one horizontal and one vertical. the meeting point. You can visit the Dajue Temple with ease by first walking horizontally and then vertically. In front of the gate of the temple stands an Ashoka pillar. Entering the gate, there is a long avenue. The right side of the avenue is the statue of the Eighteen Arhats, the left side is the corridor wall carved with colorful flying sky and Buddha, and at the end of the avenue is the statue of Master Xingyun. A little further ahead is the pagoda. Turning back to the Guanyin Hall, the walls of the hall are covered with small bodhisattvas with fresh colors. The shapes of several big bodhisattvas standing beside the wall are quite Indian style. From the Guanyin Hall, the Daxiong Hall in the south has a wide view. The Daxiong Hall is on a slightly higher terrain and is very magnificent. Walking up the wide steps, it doesn't take too long to reach the Daxiong Hall. The hall is enshrined with a jade statue of Sakyamuni. The carvings on the walls on both sides of the statue are very beautiful. The wing next to the Mahavira Hall is the place where Master Hsing Yun is introduced, and his calligraphy and books are hidden. Dishuifang on the ground floor of Guanyin Hall can eat vegetarian food.
