Overview
Daishō-in Temple, located in Miyajima-cho, Hatsukaichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture, is the head temple of the Omuro school of Shingon Buddhism and the oldest temple on Miyajima. As the head temple of Itsukushima Shrine, it conveys the history of Shinto-Buddhist syncretism to the present day.
