Whetting our appetite at Waxsurf
Established in 2019, WAX is a Davao-based lifestyle brand paying homage to the surfers of the south. They are nestled in the outskirts of the city of mati, around 20 minutes ride from the city center. You will be welcomed by the gush of seabreeze, sound of waves and loud barks of dogs. the food and the view will not disappoint. if you want a perfect blend of a laid back resort living l ambiance and good food, waxsurf mati is the place to be.

🌊 Take me back to Dahican
Went there last Friday and stayed until afternoon of Sunday. I wish this place is closer to my hometown but it's 4 hours away by bus from Tagum city. If you plan to visit Dahican, I recommend checking 'Somewhere in Dahican' and/or La-ne's Kalapyahan, they have aesthetic ambiance and great food! This was a much needed beach break ❤️

Mati city 🌅--- Davao Oriental Escaped
Priding itself with about 2 kilometers of white sand beaches, Dahican is definitely a famous destination for tourists and locals alike. Along the beach you'll find resorts, swimming pools and restaurants that offer fresh caught seafood dishes which I definitely recommend. If you're into surfing, diving or snorkeling...you'd definitely enjoy it here! There's the view on top of it all...I'd say this place has captivating sunsets and sunrises. 💫 #bucketlistreboot #beachlife

Surfing day is it
Dahican Beach in Mati, Davao Oriental, is more than just a white sand beach; it's also a popular site for skimboarding and surfing. It boasts a 7-kilometer stretch of white sand that is ideal for non-surfers and non-skimboarders who want to relax. It's also a sea turtle refuge, so keep an eye out for them.
This little-known beach in Mati is one of the nicest in Davao Oriental, and it's well worth the 4-hour drive from Davao City. Aside from the best Davao tours and activities, make sure to pay a visit to this slice of paradise. The months of January to May and December are the best times to visit.

Sunrise should not be a luxury, everyone has free access to the best source of vitamin D. In Bobon we are so blessed to be able to enjoy this mesmerizing scenery while soaking in the serenity of the morning breeze and low chirping of wild birds. #bobonbeach #matidavaooriental #sunrise

Amazing Beach Destination!🇵🇭
#timetotravel
The Philippines is known for its white beaches and toruists would normally go to Boracay and those A-list beaches in the country but there is this hidden gem in Mati, Davao Oriental. It used to be enjoyed by the locals and was a best kept secret from the rest of the Philippines and the world but now it is gaining more attention of its 7km long stretched of white fine sandy beach and turqouise water. Surely, this beach can compete against all the famous beaches in the Philippines. It just needs more promotion. You can also surf as Dahican Beach is also known to have massive waves. Most of all it is budget friendly! Restaurants are available there but you cana also bring your own food.
Entrance Fee: 100 pesos (but double check on their website this might have changed already) . If you want to stay here for a few days they have accommodations as well. I will talk more about it in my other posts. Enjoy!
