The Cradle of Generals - the Eyuwan Revolutionary Base.
Exhibited at the Dabie Mountain Revolutionary History Memorial Hall, No. 199, Changqing Road, Jin'an District, Lu'an City, Anhui Province.
The Eyuwan Revolutionary Base has always been known as the "cradle of the Red Army and the hometown of generals". A total of 341 founding generals emerged from the 30 old districts and counties. Among them, 108 were from western Anhui, accounting for 83% of the 130 founding generals in Anhui Province; among the 10 "general counties" in the country, Dabie Mountain accounted for five, and Lu'an City had 2 (Jinzhai County and the former Lu'an County). The history of the revolutionary struggle of the generals' military careers is the precious spiritual wealth of our party and country. Their heroic spirit, meritorious service in the north and south, fearless will and unparalleled revolutionary spirit have always been praised by people and inspire and educate future generations to establish lofty ideals, firm revolutionary beliefs, and aspire to repay and selflessly dedicate. Today, although these founding generals have all left us one by one, their heroic names, like historical monuments, will always stand in our hearts.
