Because he has been there (twice) and I haven’t, so he decided to bring me to CUT by Wolfgang Puck, the only Michelin-starred steakhouse in Singapore, situated in Marina Bay Sands, for our 3rd anniversary dinner. We arrived 15mins prior to our booking time and our table was not ready. So we were led to the bar area for a seat and the waitress passed us the beverage menu. We ordered a bottle of wine so as to pair with our steak later on. Soon we were being led to our table by the waitress and we order Maryland Blue Crab Cake as appetiser, 2 different steak cuts (1 filet mignon and 1 ribeye steak), as well as a Yukon Gold Potato Purée as sides to the steaks. 🥩 I came to CUT by Wolfgang Puck for its one Michelin star, and I was not disappointed! This steakhouse located in Marina Bay Sands, Singapore, was opened by famous American chef Wolfgang Puck. It specializes in high-end American steaks, has a low-key and luxurious environment, and provides professional service. 🔥 This time I ordered their most famous Tomahawk steak. The 1-kilogram steak was super shocking when it was served. It was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with evenly distributed fat. It had a burnt aroma and the sweetness of the beef itself. You could feel the elasticity of the meat when you cut it with a knife. Medium rare is recommended. 💰 The price is not cheap, but the cost performance is good The price of Tomahawk steak is around 300++ SGD (++ is service charge and consumption tax), which is suitable for 2-3 people. If you also order side dishes and red wine, the average cost per person is around 150 SGD. Compared to other Michelin restaurants, this one is more suitable for celebrations, anniversaries or just treating yourself. 📌 Tips: Make an appointment in advance, dress code required (don’t wear slippers or shorts) The overall experience is highly recommended. The menu that I tried today has many menus, including Saga steak, which is soft and grilled to perfection. It melts in your mouth. And almost a full range of desserts.
