Cup Noodles Museum - Demae Iccho Workshop
Instant noodles may be eaten a lot, have you ever tried to make an instant noodles from scratch. The Hoi Mei Memorial Hall Hong Kong can give everyone this opportunity. The Hoi Mizu Memorial Hall Hong Kong is located on the 2nd floor of Chinatown, Tsim Sha Tsui. It has three different workshops, including My Hoi Mei Workshop, Demae Yiding Workshop, and the Hong Kong-exclusive Cereal Workshop.
After entering the exhibition hall, you will pass by the strongest photo spot - the "Cup Noodle Wall", where you can enjoy the cup noodles of different flavors and packaging from all over the world. And the other wall looks at the history of Hoi Mei. The founder’s three inventions, including instant noodles, Hoi-mi cup noodles and “space ramen”, provide a glimpse into the anecdotes behind the three inventions from the display board, while showcasing Nissin Foods’ development over the years. Then there is a “Big Cup Noodle” in the center of the exhibition hall, which reproduces the reverse thinking and endless creativity it uses.
After these three photo spots, you will go to the "Demae Itcho Workshop" where the drama is full. The workshop lasts about 90 minutes, and once inside there is an apron and demae Ichidō headscarf placed on the table in preparation for the production. There are several cans of ingredients on the table. Do not open them. Put on your apron and headscarf and watch the first making short video before you can start making your own instant noodles. Start by kneading the dough, pour in the alkali water, keep turning the two, and make a firm ball, then use its specially configured dough machine to flatten the just dough, turning it one turn. After ten times of flattening, three more turns, then watch the short video, you can proceed to cut the noodles. During you can design your own favorite instant noodles outer packaging.
After cutting the noodles, the fried noodle cake will be handled by the kitchen master. In addition to seeing the entire frying process through the full glass curtain wall, the staff next to you will also tell the history of the photo, there is no boring scene. After completion, they will arrange to put the bread into the bag, plus the ingredients package and sesame oil package.
Unfortunately, the consumption date is only one month, to keep as a souvenir, in addition to not eating, it seems only to take pictures. The headscarf can be turned into a bento handkerchief for everyone to keep as a souvenir.
