D4: (Because the weather was great) Fox Glacier hiking in the morning, bonus: Madsen Lake hiking not far from the foot of the mountain, drive to Wanaka in the afternoon, 🏠Marsden Lake Resort Otago
D5: Wanaka stroll, 🏠Edgewater
D6: Drive to Kawarau Bridge in Queenstown for bungee jumping, take the Shotover Jet, half-day tour of Glenorchy in the afternoon, return to Queenstown in the evening, 🏠Oaks Queenstown Shores Resort
D7: Nzone 15,000 ft skydiving, Deer Park in the afternoon, Skyline + 3 laps of Luge, 🏠Oaks Queenstown Shores Resort (the only day I didn't change hotels, tears
D8: Head to Mt. Cook, 3-hour glacier hiking, 🏠Hermitage
D9: Pukaki Lake tour, taste glacier water salmon 🍣, 🏠Braemar Station The Middle Cottage (New Zealanders are really simple and unpretentious in naming)
D10: Tekapo stroll, stargazing, 🏠Mackenzie Suites (the only hotel that I thought had neither price advantage nor living experience)
D11: Timaru stroll, return to Christchurch, Christchurch—Guangzhou—Shanghai, 🏠A380
This itinerary met all my expectations as an ISFJ who wants to be wild, chill, and have a comfortable pace, tight first and loose later
