Located in the traditional buildings of the Al Fahidi Historic District, the Dubai Coffee Museum is an important landmark of coffee culture in the Middle East. This exhibition hall, which was transformed from a traditional villa, is divided into two floors. The exterior is built with gray-yellow coral stone. Together with the surrounding wind tower buildings, it forms the unique style of an ancient Arab village. The founder, Khalid Al Mulla, spent three years collecting precious cultural relics from around the world, covering more than a thousand exhibits, systematically presenting the journey of coffee from its origin in Ethiopia to its popularity around the world. The museum features an immersive experience. Visitors can observe the ancient coffee-making process in Egypt, Ethiopia and the Arab region in the interactive area and taste freshly brewed coffee. The library on the second floor houses manuscripts that explore the pharmacology and culture of coffee. Some of the documents even compare coffee to "poison", showing the century-long evolution of caffeine cognition. There is also a special coffee bar in the museum, providing local specialty coffee.
