Hokkaido Summer Hoshino Club Med Resort, A Summer Surprise
We checked in on July 27th, and initially thought the light rain might ruin our vacation, but it turned out to be full of surprises everywhere.
After figuring out the hotel facilities and activities, we changed into our beachwear and headed to Smile Beach. The design by Tadao Ando is integrated into the surroundings, and it's just 20 meters across from the hotel, very convenient. I have to say, the entry, storage, and play design of Smile Beach are very simple, and the prices are reasonable.
We chose the full-board option, and after getting tired from playing, we enjoyed a complete seafood buffet. However, we didn't expect the performance to be so popular, with too many people, so we decided to watch it on the second night.
What to do if we didn't watch the performance? We went straight to the Water Chapel. Another work by Tadao Ando, a bucket list item. The solemnity and grandeur at night made us want to just sit quietly, but unfortunately, our strength didn't allow it.
The next day, due to the light rain, we couldn't do outdoor activities like cycling or archery, but rafting was an option. It was thrilling, but our strength didn't allow it. We decisively went to Hoshino Farm, drank three bottles of milk in a fit of anger, then watched the animals, rode the golf cart, and shopped at the Hoshino Hotel. We skipped the buffet lunch and decisively went to Firefly Town in Hoshino Hotel for a meal. In the afternoon, we went back to rest a bit and prepared for the main event, watching the show. Tonight, we decisively bought a bottle of wine from the hotel to reserve a spot for the show. The evening was a medley of pop songs, very funny, totally worth it.
On the third morning, we hurried to take the cable car to the Cloud Top Platform. How could we miss it? We had a cup of coffee, ate some ice cream, and completed another bucket list item while chatting and laughing.
The trip to Hoshino Resort in Tomamu, Hokkaido, was a great success!
