They have tunnels for the children to crawl around, slides for the children to come down, and an unlimited amount of balls for them to play with. Parents can go in for free to accompany their children, and play with them, only for selected zones. Do speak to the staff to know more about it before you enter the indoor playground to spend time playing with your children. The city Square children's Playground is located at the entrance of the mall. The playground is very special. They have used the tyre rims as the sitting platform for the see saw. This is really very creative. In addition, there is also a net climbing obstacle where the children can get to the drop by stepping into the net. The long green slides are one of the highlights of the playground which the children will love. There is also a ladder climbing at the side of the playground. It has become my go to place every weekend. The shop has evolved into selling more affordable toys to the consumer, unlike in the past where the price is on the higher side. The shop is huge and there are a wide range of toys from soft toys, to Barbie dolls, to play doh. There is even a small corner for them to play their Lego there. It is definitely a must have drink under the hot sun in the afternoon. The drink is nutritional and healthy. This City Square mall has everything I need. I also like their Golden Village cinema. I bought the discounted movie tickets from Trip.com and it is very easy to redeem at the ticket box office.The cinema here is not crowded so you can use the voucher and buy the movie ticket on site. You can do it yourself easily using their self-kiosk machines. Since I am having staycation at OFH, I can just walk back easily using either the MRT underpass or traffic lights along Little India.

There are money changing machines here so it is easy to exchange for coins for the ride. In fact, even if you did not insert coins, you can also place your child on rides too. When someone else wants to play the ride then you can move away. Else you can share the rides with another kid too.

According to history, The New World Park was closed in the 1980s and City Square Mall was finally opened in 2009, also has a variety of offerings. Much of the remnants from The New World Park are still being preserved. It has also been transformed to a landscaping garden with many different plant species in the park.

There is a MRT station (Farrer Park station on North East Line) with direct access to the mall. There is various retailers including Din Tai Fung, Donki Donki, Starbucks, Toastbox, Daiso and even a GV cinema inside the mall. Beinh a Pokémon fan, I heard that they had Pokémon Christmas Decor at the mall and decided to check out the mall. As you can see from the photos, there are quite a few Pokémon Decors located inside and outside the mall. #travelanywhere I like to visit the Skechers to buy some apparel as the price is very good. They do have promotions on going occasionally. It is definitely a great place to spend your time here. I like their shoes as they have high arch shoes and make them very comfortable. I really enjoyed wearing their shoes to walk around to do my trip moments for a few hours each day . It is very important for long hours of walking and running, as you need to have a high cushioned shoe back to make walking easier and more comfortable.

#travelanywhere The tree art is located at the level four of the city square mall. I brought the children to come here to learn drawing .It was a two hour class there. They will get to know more new friends there and unleash their creativity. There will be expert trainers there to guide them. It is definitely a great place to spend time on their interest and passion. Rather than using the phone to play games, it would be a better option for them to focus their concentration on the art works that they draw by themselves. They will definitely feel a sense of achievement .

The shopping mall is currently on renovation works, hence several shops have been affected .You can visit the shopping mall the next time you visit here. The shopping mall is within walking distance from the holiday inn hotel, the one Farrer hotel, the Owen hotel, and the Novotel Kitchener hotel. You can also stay at the budget hotel at the tai hoe hotel , which cost less than 100 dollars per night, and is just opposite the shopping mall.

Valued at $13.90 for a set of mee suah (either meatballs or braised intestines as toppings) + sour vegetables + braised meat rice + bubble tea, it’s really a deal as you would be super full by den. Not to mention the good service even though we were the last customers to leave. They kept our cake bought from elsewhere in the fridge while we have dinner, and provided lighter, plates and forks even though it’s almost their closing time. I will term this playground as the older children's Playground. This is because compared to the previous playground, this is a much bigger scale and has a higher height. It is more exciting, but yet more dangerous for children. I love how they build the playground. This playground has longer slides which children might love more. In addition, the metal walking trail is longer now . Hence children have to take their time to walk and not rush dashing through it. As the playground route is not a smooth trail, the children will have to go up and down in order to reach the slides. #celebratewithtrip #tripblazers
