City Pillar Shrine, Chachoengsao
The City Pillar Shrine of Chachoengsao is considered an important place in Chachoengsao Province. It is highly revered by the people of Chachoengsao. Many people and tourists travel to pay homage and ask for blessings every day.
The City Pillar Shrine is located on Na Muang Road, next to Chachoengsao City Hospital, on the banks of the Bang Pakong River. It is a newly built shrine with Thai architecture. The roof is in the shape of a quadrang. The upper part is a prang. Inside the shrine are two city pillars. One is the old city pillar, built in 1834, and the other is the current city pillar, built in 1895. In addition, inside the area of the Chachoengsao City Pillar Shrine, there is a City Pillar Shrine with beautiful Chinese art. It is a place not to be missed if anyone visits the city of Paet Riew.
