[Hawaii🇺🇸] Amazing wall art in Kakaako🎨
There are many wall arts in the Kakaako district!
The Kakaako district on the island of Oahu in Hawaii is a rapidly growing area with rapid redevelopment, including wall art, gourmet food, fashion, and housing🌺🌴
★Recommended points
- It's close to Ala Moana and easy to get to by public transportation!
- Totoro turned into a pineapple🍍, realistic sea turtles, and many other cute arts were fun♪
- There are many types, so it's best to check the location of the painting you want to see in advance
- You can take beautiful photos, so it's recommended to visit during good weather and bright times🔆
★Caution
- Many of the art pieces a little away from the main street are in deserted warehouses and industrial areas, so we recommend visiting during bright times and with multiple people.
- Please be careful not to get too absorbed in taking photos and go out onto the road.
★ Every February, artists from all over the world gather to paint walls, so you might be able to see them painting👀! ?
★We recommend wearing comfortable shoes that you are used to walking around in, as you will be walking around a lot!

[Hawaii | Honolulu] Kakaako Wall Art
You can take some great photos at the "Wall Art" in Kakaako, a tourist spot in Hawaii 📷✨
There are large wall arts everywhere, and the art changes, so it's a fun place to go every time ☺️🎨
The Aloha Monster is famous, and it seems to be a particularly popular spot with Japanese people 🇯🇵
It's located about a 10-minute bus ride from Ala Moana Center 🚌
There are stylish cafes and clothing stores nearby, and Giovanni inside H Mart, so you can enjoy not only the wall art but also the area around Kakaako ♬
However, since it is an area with many homeless people, please be careful when visiting alone or as a woman ⚠️
Be sure to go during daylight hours and use the restrooms at the stores!

This area is home to a variety of art murals such as "Monsters" and "Rainbows." Even if you've never been there, you may have seen them on social media.
This is a place where everyone goes to take photos.
I went to this town on my bike!

[Hanoi] Be bathed in photogenic wall art!
Kakaako
Located in Honolulu, Hawaii, this is an art town famous for its wall art!
As soon as you enter the area, you'll see buildings decorated with wall art, and you can see various illustrations in every corner 👀
It seems that the number of wall arts is still increasing,
and even outside the center, they can be found in unexpected places,
so it may be quite difficult to walk through and see them all...!
(I walked for about 50 minutes and finally felt like I had seen every corner)
There are many illustrations that I wonder if they were made with permission...😂You can also see a lot of parodies of Japanese content!

Kakaako Wall Art
There is a shopping mall called Salt nearby. It is best to park your car there.
By the way, the first hour is free. After that, you will have to pay $4. Parking is only available by credit card, cash is not accepted.
The wall art that spreads all over the place is impressive.
If you get tired, you can take a rest by eating or drinking tea in the Salt Mall.

Tropical memories made in Kakaako: A trip to Hawaii with fellow female classmates
The company getaway to Hawaii was truly a dream come true!
The wall art in Kakaako was especially great for a photo competition with my close female classmates. The vibrant art and blue sky were amazing, and we captured many memories on camera. The Kona coffee we had at a nearby cafe was also excellent, with a rich tropical aroma.
We were blessed with great weather, and I was most happy to be able to share such a wonderful time while enjoying the everlasting summer heat.

[Hawaii] A treasure trove of cuteness ♡ Kakaako wall art
The Kakaako district can be accessed by bus from Waikiki.
Originally a rundown warehouse district, it has become a popular spot for tourists in Hawaii because of its photogenic scenery!
It is recommended to visit in the morning as there are many art works that are not shaded.
Recently, redevelopment has led to an increase in condominiums and stylish cafes and shops, making it a popular area where you can enjoy more than just wall art.
Why not enjoy the wall art as you go around the cafes?

A recommended photo spot with good access from Waikiki
We took a bus from Waikiki and walked around from there. It took about an hour to get to the area where we took photos.
There is no shade, so don't forget to hydrate with your own bottle.

📍We headed for SALT in Kakaako and went around from there
🚌The Bus
From Waikiki, take buses 19, 20, and 42 from the bus stop on Kuhio Avenue.
When you get off at the bus stop "893, Ala Moana Avenue + Coral Street," Kakaako "Salt" is right in front of you.
The journey takes about 30 minutes

The weather was so good that I almost got burnt! 🍍🍍
My favorite is KEVIN LYONS after all 💙

There is only one panda hiding in this work 🐼
→ 3rd photo ♡
It takes about 30 minutes by The Bus from Waikiki, or 15 minutes by taxi to arrive at Kakaako (^^)
During the day, Kakaako has many streets with little shade, and it is quite hot, so be sure to bring a drink and wear a hat to protect yourself from the heat!

[Hawaii] Kakaako Farmers Market
Kakaako Farmers Market is held only on Saturday mornings. It's located at the Kakaako Art area. I walked there from Ala Moana. It was crowded with people. Each store had attractive food and goods. On this day, I had a canelé from Cane Lei and a crepe from Crepes Hawaii. Both were delicious. If you plan on buying a lot, please bring an eco bag. There was a place to wash your hands, paper towels, and a trash can at the entrance. Prices are high because it's Hawaii.
