#favouriteitinerary Our Penang trip itinerary is full of surprises. We visited the komtar shopping mall, the giant gurney plaza shopping mall, as well as the Tesco located 10 minutes ride from the gurney plaza area. I like how relaxing the place is and the traffic is not as hectic as in the Kuala Lumpur city. There are many delicious food there. You can try out their curry noodles and their laksa with clams. It is absolutely delicious with their spicy gravy. The attractions that you must not missed out on is one of the bigger guanyin temple in Malaysia. You can also look forward to the Penang hill to explore there and take the tram uphill. Address is at 66 Jln Penang, George Town

#cnyfeast 📍Kirishima Restaurant, Cititel, Penang Had a feast at Kirishima Restaurant that is hidden in Cititel Hotel in the heart of Penang, and this place is also such an ideal location for family CNY feast! The restaurant is huge and spacious, with plenty of seatings and tables. They even have private rooms that can be accommodated for private events. The seats were cushioned and was a very cozy and comfortable dining experience, service from staff was exceptional! They offer a wide array of Japanese food, from freshly sourced sashimi, to rice bowls, noodles, skewers, they have so much to offer! One of my favourite go to food would be their Unagi salad soba, which came in generous portion of toppings like tomatoes, unagi, tamago, tofu, cabbage, such a refreshing dish, perfect dish for sharing!

Day1 D7303 14:25-19:35 Hangzhou arrives in Kuala Lumpur, due to AirAsia's flight being an hour late, it wasn't until 8:30 that we reached Kuala Lumpur. Fortunately, there was a four-hour layover scheduled, and with luggage collection and the transfer from T2 to T1, the timing was just right. It took an hour to reach Penang Airport by Malaysia Airlines, and taxis were both cheap and easy to hail. Time to get some good rest at the hotel. Stay: George Street Vintage Hotel (not recommended for those who have trouble sleeping, later switched to the REUNION RESIS Guesthouse across the street which was much better. Chose this place for convenience, of course, for a similar price you could stay by the sea, but sometimes the taxi traffic is terrible) Day2 Sleep until waking up naturally, then a five-minute walk to Oh Oh Coffee Shop for morning tea. Gather at the door to wait for the chartered driver to take us to the durian farm on the back of Mount Rofu to eat durians. Afternoon return to the hotel for rest Evening snacks at Shantou Street Night Market Day3 After breakfast at LESHA, walk to Mural Street, passing through Little India to the Overseas Chinese Museum, which requires an admission ticket Lunch at AUNTIE GAIK LEAN'S Michelin Nyonya Cuisine (queueing required) Because the weather was too hot, took a break at a nearby coffee shop. Evening check-in at Surname Bridge. Day4 Return to Hangzhou/Or take a high-speed train to Kuala Lumpur.

#hotelreview Cititel Penang is 4 star hotel which strategically located. It is 10mins drive to Penang Hill and 2.7km away from Gurney Drive. Although the hotel has been built since 1997, it is still properly maintained as you can see in the photos! If you would like to have sight-seeing trip, this is the recommended and affordable hotel you should stay! This hotel is 16 storey high. You would be able to have nice seaview if staying at the higher floor. Life is awesome when wake up to nice seaview.

#winhkflight 📍Kirishima Japanese Restaurant Cititel Penang, 66 Jalan Penang, George Town, 10000 George Town, Penang Revisited this Japanese restaurant in town area just recently and the food was still on par and as good! We have always loved this place and this is our go to Japanese restaurant casually or during special occasions like birthdays. The restaurant is located inside Cititel, a lot of parking spaces at the parking lot that comes with a RM7 charges. The restaurant is huge, with ample of tables and seatings, love the cushioned seats though, very comfortable and cozy! The service from the staffs were always top tier, friendly and felt welcoming to us! The food was high quality as always, fresh ingredients were used, food was served warm and nicely plated! Some of our favourites were buttered scallops, Unagi soba salad and spider rolls. Definitely seeing myself revisiting this place!

Had a great stay Cititel Penang in Penang. The hotel is strategically located at the heart of Georgetown, Penang. Plenty of local foods nearby, heaven for foodies. There is a 24 hours convenience-retailing store just opposite the hotel. The hotel also serves a wide selection of local cuisine for breakfast. 😋 The room is clean, comfortable, spacious and well-equipped with modern amenities. My room have nice seaview too! The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was incredible with so many choices from nasi lemak to freshly cooked roti canai to sushi and ice cream. The hotel staff were excellent with quick and friendly service. The location was super with so many attractions within walking distance in Georgetown. There is also the free shuttle bus stop just across the road which is convenient to get to the slightly further attractions such as the historical piers.

i booked for deluxe room with city view, unfortunately there’s no bathtub in there. my daughter loves hotel’s room with bathtub. So we downgrade the room which has bathtub. surprisingly we get a room with bathtub + with a beautiful view 😍 and they provide free crib for my baby to. so no regret at all for downgrade the room. the staffs all easy to deal and very friendly. #cititelhotel#penang#georgetown

Centrally located. Ideally away from the crowd but close enough to all eateries and night life in the Heart of Georgetown. Good place for a family stay during NYE. Breakfast is average, close to below par for its branding and name. Nevertheless there is ample of local streetfood nearby, across and even walking distance. There are connecting rooms as well for the family.

Penang has been great, but it was even greater staying in a room which offered an amazing overview of the whole Penang. Wish to come back again!
