2025 Sunshine Beach Travel Guide: Must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transportation routes (updated in April)

This place is close to Tropea, it took us about 10 minutes to get there by car. It's right beside the big rock called Scagglia di Riaci (or something like that) that you can jump off into the crystal clear water (although the rocks to climb up were pricking my feet so we didn't make it). You can borrow the kayaks and surf the small waves of you want for free through the hotel. The room was a bit outdated compared to the property. The air conditioner was too noisy and we could also hear the people in the rooms around us and above us flushing the toilet and hear people in the hallways in the mornings. The pool is amazing, as are the staff. Even with the problems I've mentioned, I give it 5 stars because of the price. We paid €95/night at the end of August. Definitely worth it. Don't bother going to the restaurant. The breakfast and dinner were both disappointing. I would suggest renting a car to get around. Enjoy :) #summervacation#hotelstay#urbanexplorer

Cinque Terre, the five towns, is a string of five ancient fishing villages perched high on the Italian Riviera just south of Genoa in northwest Italy. The tiny villages were until recently linked only by mule tracks and accessible only by rail or water. Cinque Terre is one of the Italian attractions. It is formed by 5 different towns all locate in different areas along the coast. They are Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore. It has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. I started my trip at La Spezia station and bought a return tickets because I needed to return to La Spezia later on the day to board my cruise ship to extend my trip. On the train toward to Clinque Terre, I only need one ticket and I can hop on and hop off to all towns after each visit. The stations between are only about 10 mins away. So I have plenty of time to visit all of the towns. They are have their own characters and unique vibe. It is also a popular destination for tourist to spend a few days in one town. It has some nice beaches and nice restaurants and cafe. If you want to spend your vacation on a small, unique and Italian town. Cinque Terre is the perfect spot for you.
