[2025 Colombo Stay] Travel Guide for Cinnamon Red Colombo (Updated Apr)

The staff were friendly and it was a comfortable hotel. You can relax by the rooftop pool and bar during the cooler hours. The tuk-tuk I called via Uber arrived quickly, and the taxi drivers all knew where I was right away. The breakfast buffet included Sri Lankan food, which was a great experience. There is a shrimp restaurant two doors down, and a supermarket in front of that. There is a spa, bar, and cafe within walking distance, so the location is good. If I go to Colombo again, I'd like to stay at this hotel.

Hotel has a good buffet on 8F, breakfast 3900 Rs., Lunch and dinner is like 5800 Rs. They have many drinks that will change every day, king coconut, orange juice, golden apple juice..and so on. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Cinnamon Red Colombo. This 26-floor stylish hotel is close to most attractions in downtown Colombo. Our room was on the 24th floor and the views of the city through the glass-sided wall were superb! Needless to say that the views from the infinity pool on the top floor and the rooftop bar were even more spectacular. We visited the rooftop bar twice throughout our stay. There was a live performance on Friday night. The food and drinks were reasonably priced. Our room was clean and spacious enough to accommodate 2 adults and 2 kids. It's worth mentioning that there's an ice cube dispenser on every floor of the hotel which made making our own cold drinks much more convenient. The hotel was also accommodative in early check in and late check out subject to room availability.
