Historic buildings
St Paul's Church was built in 1521 for the Portuguese. After the Dutch occupied Malacca in 1670, the church was used as a castle, and many bullet holes can still be seen on the outer wall today. In 1753, the Dutch built another church, and St. Paul's Church was used as a burial ground for Dutch nobles, and some tombstones inscribed in Latin and Portuguese are still preserved. St. Paul's Church is built on the top of St. Paul's Hill. There is a white priest statue erected in front of the church. The carving is very realistic. The strange thing is that the statue has no right hand. In addition, it is also a pleasant thing to overlook the Strait of Malacca in the distance.
