Direct subway access! A century-old building that was closed for 500 days is now open
After being closed for nearly 500 days, a century-old building in Chengdu finally reopened two months ago. The pavilions, red walls, black tiles, and flying eaves inside the building are full of ancient charm, making it a great place to stroll, take photos, and drink tea.

The building is known as the "First Loyal and Filial Confucian Forest of Ancient and Modern Times." It was built during the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty and was later repaired and expanded. It was also the largest brick and wood structure complex in western Sichuan during the Republic of China.

1️⃣Chunyangguan Highlights
✔️Qianlong Opera Stage: There is a unique ancient opera stage on the right-hand side of the entrance.
✔️Poetry Stele: There are more than 40 stone carvings, wood carvings, couplets, and other calligraphy works in the building, all of which were created by famous calligraphers from Sichuan.
✔️Mural
The Loyal and Filial Piety Pavilion has the longest mural of loyal and filial piety stories in the world.
✔️Dazhong Pavilion/Zhixiao Pavilion
The largest brick and wood pavilion in Sichuan, with a three-eave octagonal helmet top, houses 48 statues of loyal and filial piety figures from various dynasties (including Zhuge Liang, Li Mi, etc.), all of which are vividly depicted.
✔️The First Bell in Chengdu
The Wanyuan Jiuku Bell of the Yuqing Taoist Temple in the Republic of China is nearly a hundred years old and is the treasure of the museum. The bell weighs 7,000 jin and is made of gold, silver, copper, iron, and tin.
