best university in Bangkok
so after few months of thinking, I decided to come to Thailand to do my exchange semester! apparently, Chula is the best university in Thailand, most of the wealthy Thais come here to get education. the campus itself is beautiful, and there are canteens in every single faculty. there are also free shuttle buses to take from one place to another place on campus! sometimes, there are also live shows and performances in the evening during the festival seasons.

#meetbangkok
Let me introduce you to the best University in Thailand located in the heart of Bangkok. This University is rated Triple Champion by the 3 most famous rating agencies. I am honored to be able to learn so much about this University and the culture in this country. This University offers great courses such as Basic Thai for Foreigners and Communicative Thai for more advanced foreigners giving us the opportunity to understand the basics and communicate in daily life. The buildings are beautifully designed in respect to the culture and look very different compared to the universities i am used too#tripblazers

During my visit to Bangkok, I explored the vibrant Chulalongkorn University food street, renowned for its bustling atmosphere and delicious street food. I started with a bowl of Tom Yum noodles 🍜, a perfect blend of spicy 🌶️, sour 🍋, and savory flavors that instantly awakened my taste buds. The broth was rich and aromatic, filled with tender shrimp 🍤 and fresh herbs 🌿.
Next, I stopped by the famous Milk Neung Nom Nua shop 🥛, a popular spot among students and locals. Their signature milk drink was creamy and refreshing 😋, providing a delightful contrast to the spicy noodles I had earlier.
For dessert 🍨, I headed to Jae Wan, a well-known restaurant specializing in traditional Thai sweets. I savored their ice dessert, Red Ruby ❤️, which featured crunchy water chestnuts coated in a chewy red tapioca layer, served in sweetened coconut milk 🥥 with shaved ice ❄️. It was a refreshing and satisfying end to my culinary adventure.
This journey through Chulalongkorn University food street was an unforgettable experience, highlighting the rich and diverse flavors of Thai cuisine 🇹🇭.

Lazy Foodie Couple's Travel Guide to Bangkok, Thailand! Grab it and no need to thank me!
Where to stay in Bangkok?
There are so many good hotels, everyone has different budget needs, so it's up to you, but I also recommend a few hotels that I think are good: For couples who are not short on cash, the Mandarin Oriental Bangkok, for those who want affordability without losing the hotel experience, the Centre Point Hotel Chidlom Bangkok, and for a bit of luxury, the Shangri-La Hotel Bangkok ❤️
-
Day1
Visit the supermarket on the minus one floor of the Siam Paragon Shopping District to try some durian 😋
Then you can go to the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Reclining Buddha to have a look 👀
In the evening, take the public ferry to the 'Ferris Wheel Night Market' for some food and drinks 🍻 You can also take a ride on the Ferris wheel to join in the fun 🎡
There's also a lot to buy here, and you can bargain at the stalls‼️
-
Day2
Sleep until noon, then go for a 'T&K Seafood' curry crab, raw marinated shrimp, and mango sticky rice ✔️ T&K is a well-known local chain (quality is top-notch online) so just search for this restaurant on the map and go to whichever is closest.
Then head to the 'Chatuchak Weekend Market' for a stroll (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). This market is huge, with food, drinks, and shopping. By the time you're done, it's usually evening and you can barely walk ✔️ That's when you can go to the famous massage parlor Let's Relax for a massage‼️ The Centre Point Hotel Chidlom Bangkok I recommended at the beginning has a branch of this massage parlor on the first floor, which is why I often stay at this hotel when I'm in Bangkok 😂
-
Day3
Sleep until noon and go to Chulalongkorn University for a stroll. The campus is open and large, and you can check in anywhere. There are also many popular restaurants among students, such as 'Chula 50's' affordable crab meat rice. It's really delicious, but it's just too crowded during meal times. Also, the Centre Point Hotel Chidlom Bangkok I mentioned at the beginning is just a 2-minute walk from these popular restaurants 😂 You can take away food and eat back at the hotel.
In the evening, you can go to Chinatown for some food and drinks. Famous dishes like pig's trotter rice and pig's offal soup are easy to find there. You can also try some bird's nest and shark fin. Don't think that you shouldn't go to Chinatown just because it's mostly Chinese; the shops run by Chinese descendants there are really delicious 😋
-
Day4
You should definitely visit the big malls like Terminal 21 and the downtown King Power Duty Free Shop‼️ The former has many cultural and creative stores, and there's a lot of food and drink, making it very enjoyable to shop‼️ I don't always find the prices of luxury goods at King Power very attractive, but tourists can get vouchers with their passports, and having a meal in the food area is no problem 😋 Then you can go shopping for some local products to take home as gifts 🎁
-
Eating, drinking, and massages are the main highlights of a trip to Bangkok 😌
It's really comfortable and happy ❤️
Bangkok has two airports, and I recommend 'Suvarnabhumi Airport' ✈️ It's very new and big, and the international flight waiting area is full of King Power Duty Free shops 🛍️ Even if your flight is delayed, you'll have a great time shopping there ❤️

Thailand | Chatuchak Weekend Market at Chulalongkorn
The weather is scorching at 40 degrees, and it's quite a trek in the heat💦
It's said to be the largest market in Asia, and it feels very much like the small commodity markets back home. There's a vast array of niche accessories, clothes, shoes, and bags available. You could easily spend the whole day browsing here.
Opening hours are Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 to 18:00.
Just any roadside stall's tossed rice is really impressive. Remember to ask for it to be mildly spicy🌶️

It's really crowded!!! The milk tea is just so-so and very sweet. Many of the street stalls don't have air conditioning. I'm already over trying to follow the trendy food guides and just randomly picked a noodle soup place, which turned out to be quite delicious😌

Chula 50 Kitchen is a good restaurant you should try if you like crab meat scrambled egg. This is Michelin hotspot. The taste is very good and the price is reasonable. Waiting time for seat less than 1 hour during weekend. Waiting time for food is express fast, less than 5 minutes. There is a few good cafes opposite the shop. You can drink some coffee while waiting for your seat.

Chulalongkorn University is a top university in Thailand and the alma mater of Princess Sirindhorn
Visiting universities on a trip often allows you to appreciate a different kind of scenery. When in Thailand, when in Bangkok, also consider visiting Chulalongkorn University, the best university in Thailand.
The architecture on campus is mostly in Thai style, with vibrant colors. Strolling around the campus, you'll find lush green grass and blooming flowers, making it feel like a large garden.
The university is located in the city center near the Siam shopping district, and within a five-kilometer radius, there are many famous attractions: Wat Arun, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Wat Pho, Jim Thompson's House, the Temple of the Golden Buddha, and more. An evening walk through the Patpong Night Market is also a great idea!
🌞Chulalongkorn University is the oldest university in Thailand and is revered as 'the most prestigious university in the country'. It has 19 faculties, 2 graduate schools, 1 branch campus, 11 research institutes, 2 educational centers, and 3 affiliated schools. The university is named after King Chulalongkorn, Rama V, and was founded by King Vajiravudh (H.M. Vajiravudh), Rama VI. Rama VI developed the school into a national administrative college and added many courses, such as agriculture, commerce, education, engineering, maritime administration, law, medicine, and public administration. By 1917, this administrative college had the scale of a comprehensive university, with a total construction cost of 950,982.39 Thai Baht. This ancient institution, with the crown of King Rama V as its emblem, has chosen pink for its school flag's color (said to be the color representing Tuesday, the day of King Rama V's birth).

Half-day tour of Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, chance encounter with a handsome guy
Chulalongkorn University is the top institution in Thailand, known as the Peking University and Tsinghua of Thailand. Fans of Thai dramas know that many stars graduated from Chulalongkorn University, such as Chen Puming, Fuduo Duo, Pong, Tong from 'The Gangster's Lover', and so on, all of them are definitely good-looking and smart.
The Engineering Faculty, Architecture Faculty, Medical Faculty, and Sports Faculty of Chulalongkorn University are especially known for producing handsome guys, and many TV dramas are also filmed here.
For fans of Thai dramas visiting Bangkok, a trip to Chulalongkorn University is a must! See the places where your idols have fought their battles.
The campus is completely open, with no security guards, no need for appointments, no need for tickets, and Tutu cars can also drive in!
The uniforms are bought online in advance, or you can customize them on the spot in Thailand, embroider your Thai name on them, and it's all done in ten minutes. The campus is well-greened with many towering trees, making it a cool and comfortable place to walk around. The pink campus buses are also a beautiful sight, and you can even scan to ride shared electric scooters.
The grassy area by the lake is where you'll find the most handsome guys, with lots of people playing baseball and rugby, all with good looks and physiques.
Transportation: Take the BTS to National Stadium and walk for 10 minutes
Admission: Free

Chulalongkorn University Centenary Park
#winhkflight
Chulalongkorn University Centenary Park is a 30-rai park located on the campus of Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand. It was completed in 2017 to honor the 100th anniversary of the university's founding.
The park is designed as a multi-functional “urban forest”, which serves as an oasis for the residents and visitors of Bangkok wishing to spend quality leisure time in a lush and pleasant environment. The park includes a constructed wetland, with a rain garden, retention pond and an underground water drainage system. It also holds an interactive virtual museum featuring historical and socially engaging topics, with life-like exhibits periodically showcased at the main hall of the park.
Apart from the greenery of the trees and shrubs, park-goers can benefit from the many organized public activities, which are all in line with the university’s goal to foster a smart and inclusive society.
I saw many students and youth doing sport here. Good place to walk around.
I want to go Hong Kong and experience the ocean park!

Sneak into the tropical rainforest and be a college student for a day
Chulalongkorn University
A university in the tropical rainforest, if compared, it would be the Tsinghua and Peking University of Thailand.
The campus is super large and beautiful, like a small city, with all faculties concentrated, and many coffee shops.
It happens to be Friday, students are laughing and playing, very lively, many Thai girls are really beautiful
Found the Art College building! There are art book exhibition stalls at the entrance, many original small works and original design books, so even the aesthetics are particularly many.
Eating and drinking all kinds of local snacks in the market stalls at the entrance of the canteen, a bit happy, 20 yuan may eat to the wall, this may be the simple happiness that can only be experienced during the student period~
So even the SHUTTLE BUS in the campus is pink
Eight yuan super large cup of Thai milk tea is really super good! (So delicious)
It is about one kilometer away from the Siam area, the transportation is very convenient~ You can also use the taxi app in the campus (it's not likely to walk out by yourself, just walk to where you want to go and take a taxi)

The beautiful Chulalongkorn University
has always liked to visit local universities when traveling, this time in Bangkok to Chulalongkorn University. Chulalongkorn University is one of the best universities in Thailand, and the competition for admission is fierce. The whole campus is quite beautiful, especially if some buildings are in the form of cornices. If you don't say that you might think this is a good temple. The book center is worth a visit.

I think that I like campus very much. It has nothing to do with age. It has nothing to do with experience. It is only about feelings. Teachers used to be my ideal career. Of course, its not just because of the cold summer vacation that can travel in the wrong year, but also because of regular Mind with the students who will never die. From the time I choose to live, I will try to stay close to the university campus. When I have the opportunity, I will go to the famous schools in various places to stop and go. By the way, I will go to the city~
so when I have the opportunity to come to Bangkok again, my eyes are not staying. Traditionally famous attractions, but choose a leisurely morning time to collide with my favorite college campus.
About Chulalongkorn University, for me, it used to be just a name, and it was a very mouthful name (Jura, the general habit), so that even if I arrived, I would still read it, but at the moment In the future, I think I will remember it~
