Come visit Chulalongkorn University, the highest university in Thailand~
Secretly experience what it feels like to be a student and pretend that you are still young (mistakenly)
Chulalongkorn University is considered a niche attraction (?
Because there are very few tourists hahaha
The campus is quite big. You can probably walk around it all morning.
The building is quite beautiful~ It looks good in any photo~
But still very~very~hot
The Michelin-starred snack street next to the university only gets busy in the evening
None of the shops were open this morning, so I didn’t get anything to eat...
I have wanted to go to HKU for a long time!
I love this one-day campus tour~
I feel that every school has its own unique atmosphere~
It’s also fun to communicate with students from all over the world~

Mahachulalongkorn Building
Mahachulalongkorn Building, or as it is popularly known as "Thevalai", is a building with a unique Thai architectural identity. It was built in 1914 as the headquarters of the Civil Service College. It was designed by Dr. Karl Dohring, a German engineer who worked in the Ministry of Interior, and Mr. Edward Healey, an English engineer who worked in the Ministry of Education. They adapted ancient Thai art from Sukhothai and Sawankhalok into the building's design. On January 3, 1915, King Rama VI traveled to the Civil Service College under construction to lay the foundation stone. Later, on March 26, 1916, a royal proclamation was issued to establish it. "The Civil Service College of King Chulalongkorn" was developed into "Chulalongkorn University". The building was used as the administrative office and the first teaching building of Chulalongkorn University, called the "Command Building". Later, the building's name was changed to "Arts Building 1" and "Mahachulalongkorn Building" respectively. The Faculty of Arts building, Chulalongkorn University, received the Outstanding Conservation Building Award from the Association of Siamese Architects under Royal Patronage.

best university in Bangkok
so after few months of thinking, I decided to come to Thailand to do my exchange semester! apparently, Chula is the best university in Thailand, most of the wealthy Thais come here to get education. the campus itself is beautiful, and there are canteens in every single faculty. there are also free shuttle buses to take from one place to another place on campus! sometimes, there are also live shows and performances in the evening during the festival seasons.

Bangkok’s food hotspot: Auntie’s Kitchen 🍽️🦀
#chulalongkornuniversitynightmarket
In **Thanon Banthat Thong Food Street** in Chulalongkorn, Bangkok, Auntie Kitchen is a food hotspot recommended by locals. The crab meat fried rice and curry fried crab meat here are full of authentic flavor and are absolutely mouth-watering. Whenever you walk into this small shop, the rich aroma hits your face, making you instantly feel the unique food culture of Thailand🌶️.
I ordered their signature stir-fried crab meat with curry. The crab meat was fresh and sweet, perfectly combined with the fragrant curry sauce. The texture was smooth and made people want to have another bowl of rice to go with it🍚. The crab meat fried rice is a rice with distinct grains, fried until golden brown, full of steam, and an amazing amount of crab meat, which makes you have endless aftertaste after one bite🍽️.
In addition, the bitter melon and pork bone soup is also a highlight. The soup base has a strong peppery taste. The fragrance of the bitter melon and the deliciousness of the pork bones blend together, making people feel very refreshing🥣. Fried crab dates are a snack not to be missed. They are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. They are especially suitable with their unique sweet and spicy sauce and will make you a regular customer once you try them🦐.
Finally, the Thai stir-fry has become a must-order side dish with its crisp texture and garlic aroma, balancing the overall flavor🥬. Overall, Auntie's Kitchen not only provides delicious food, but also gives people a strong local atmosphere🎉. The consumption per person is less than HK$100, which is really cost-effective. It is definitely a must-try place when traveling to Bangkok! 🌟🍛

Light of Academia: A Literary Journey through Chulalongkorn University and Bangkok
Day 1
Arriving in Bangkok in the early morning, I visited Thailand's oldest higher education institution, Chulalongkorn University. The campus is lush with greenery, and the architecture blends traditional Thai and modern styles, creating a serene and solemn atmosphere. Walking through the campus, I could feel the rich cultural heritage and academic ambiance of this century-old institution. I particularly visited the university museum to learn about the founding history of the university and the development of Thai education. By noon, I took a break at a minimalist café on campus, enjoying a cup of aromatic Thai coffee and sharing the tranquil academic atmosphere with the surrounding students. In the afternoon, I went to the university library, which boasts an impressive collection of books. I chose a book about Thai culture and sat in the reading area by the window, quietly enjoying the peace of this academic sanctuary.
Day 2
The second day's itinerary focused on exploring the surrounding area of the campus. I first visited the Chulalongkorn University Creative Arts Center, where I viewed an exhibition of contemporary student and alumni artworks, rich in content and creativity. Then, I walked to the nearby Siam Square, a favorite shopping and gathering spot for students. For lunch, I chose a popular local restaurant to savor traditional Thai cuisine. In the afternoon, I returned to the university sports field to experience the vibrant athletic scene of the students. By evening, I strolled by the campus lake, with the sunset casting a beautiful glow on the water, bringing a perfect end to my two-day journey.
This trip showcased the literary charm and vitality of Bangkok through Chulalongkorn University. Its blend of history and modernity added a rich cultural experience to my journey.

A Sanctuary of Wisdom and Culture.

The campus design blends the beauty of traditional Thai and modern architecture, with majestic buildings and lush green lawns creating an atmosphere of tranquility and confidence. Walking through the campus, one can feel the weight of knowledge and catch a glimpse of the profound foundation of higher education in Thailand. The university's museums and art exhibitions are a treasure trove for culture enthusiasts, showcasing the fusion of Thai history and modern creativity. Here, academia and culture inspire each other, creating a fertile ground for enlightenment, making it an unmissable spiritual landmark in Bangkok.

Bangkok. Chulalongkorn University.
When in Bangkok, you must visit Chulalongkorn University, the top university in Thailand. The campus buildings are beautiful and unique, and you can rent a bike to explore the campus. However, make sure to check if it's a holiday. When I visited, it happened to be a Thai holiday, so there were no classes, and the cafeteria and museum were closed. It was a bit disappointing, so I'll make sure to visit again next time I'm in Bangkok. When visiting a university, you must try the cafeteria food, visit the museum and library, and chat with some students to make the experience more interesting!

Bangkok Hotel Recommendation! This one is great! Siam@Siam
I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at the Siam@Siam Design Hotel Bangkok!
The location is fantastic, just a 2-minute walk straight from the National Stadium Exit 1, making it very convenient to the Siam shopping district along the BTS dark green line. Nearby, there's the Chulalongkorn University food street, about a 6-minute walk from the hotel, perfect for evening street food adventures.
The hotel is quite new, rated 4 stars, and not part of a chain. It features unique Thai design elements, which I prefer over the usual cookie-cutter hotels. There's an infinity pool that's great for photos. The staff provided excellent service, even surprising me with a cake on my birthday. My room was bright, offering a view of the city skyline at night through the glass windows. It was also very clean, making for a truly enjoyable experience!

In Bangkok Thailand, one of the famous dessert spot to head to would be Jae Wan Dessert shop. It is located near Chulalongkorn University. If you hadn't already know, Jae Wan had recently went viral because the Famous Singer Lisa from Blackpink had dined here, making it a must visit place for visitors alike. Their menu is extensive with a whole range of yummy looking thai desserts. I tried their Lod Chong Red ruby Buay loh in fresh milk dessert (130THB) and I got to say i was impressed. It wasn't too sweet and it was cold, refreshing and just what I need after a meal. Many others were seen eating soy pudding dessert and it's really a dessert heaven, from hot to cold kinds of desserts. Portions are huge here so a bowl of dessert can even feed 2 pax. Come to Jae Wan and you will be happy with their dessert offerings.

Hidden Food at Chulalongkorn Night Market! 🤫
I took a taxi to Chulalongkorn Night Market with my friends. I originally wanted to eat the popular Thai hot pot restaurant, but when I passed by, I saw a long line at the door, so I gave up. I was planning to go directly to Milk Boy, but on the way to Milk Boy, the driver found this small shop on the street and found it very clean! There was also a clay pot Thai hot pot, so we asked the driver to stop and eat here. I didn't have any hope, but! Unexpectedly, it was so delicious that we both wanted to cry. We wondered why no one recommended this restaurant... and the staff were all very nice and friendly. My friend and I didn't know if the hot pot was cooked, so we wanted to ask the staff. When we turned around, before my friend and I could even say anything, the shop assistants came over and asked us what we needed. The price is also very fair and cheap! A small hot pot with meat, shrimp, fish, vegetables and vermicelli + a plate of fried mama noodles is only about 90 baht🤟 and basically all the people who come here are local Thais! While eating, I kept sighing that the store was so good at finding a restaurant. ps: But I was in a hurry and didn’t locate the location when I left. However, if you take a taxi to Milk Boy, you will definitely pass by that street. The two stores are no more than 200 meters apart, so you can pay attention when you pass by. #Thailand #Bangkok #Chulalongkorn Night Market
Chulalongkorn University is the top university in Thailand and one of the oldest universities in Thailand. It is honored as one of the "most prestigious universities in the country"; it is equivalent to Tsinghua University and Peking University in our country. The transportation around the school is very convenient and it is located in In the Siam business district in the heart of Bangkok. I have been away from campus for too long, and now I always want to visit the campus from time to time. Secondly, taking pictures on campus is really great! ! ! Take a photo and feel youthful and full of youth. Come and gather. If you have any sisters who want to go, please pick up the guide below. (For personal reference only. If you don’t like it, you can leave it out.)
🚦Transportation route: Take a taxi or BTS subway to Siam station and walk there~
🎫Tickets: Free and no reservation required~ The school is not a closed wall and everyone can enter and exit the campus freely.
🕰Best shooting time: It is recommended to be around 4:00-6:00 in the afternoon~ Because the campus is mostly shaded by trees, it is not very sunny, but it is relatively hot.
📸Best shooting location:
① Under the shade of the trees: In the afternoon after four o'clock ~ at dusk the light is really shining, with rays of light penetrating into the tree layers. Standing under the trees, it is really hard not to love this atmosphere! !
②Flowers: It is very common to see fafa on campus. Find a larger flower bush (it is recommended to have flowers around the stone statue of leaders at the school entrance). Sitting down or standing up to take photos will be very effective. Fresh and refined photos can be taken in minutes. Get it! ! Sisters, rush to me! !
③Campus desks and chairs: A part of campus youth is provided by desks, chairs and benches. Just taking a single photo brings back a sense of memories. Sitting down and leaning on the table or raising your hands is like going back to the school days! ! 🅾️Okay~ After the sisters have finished shopping and taking photos, they can go to the food street near the university to eat and drink (it is recommended that Xiaobai take a taxi there to go faster)~ Chulalongkorn Night Market is really recommended~ This is where a wonderful Thai night begins~
(Note: Sisters who want to go to Chulalongkorn Night Market ~ Search Chula on the map software, BTS Skytrain Station National Stadium and walk for about 20 minutes~) ❣️ I hope all sisters have a good time in Thailand ~

Bangkok Night Market, a must-go for foodies 🇹🇭
Bangkok night market is so lively! Chulalongkorn Night Market really has everything you need. I've been to other night markets before, and this one is really much more complete. The fried chicken at any roadside restaurant tastes great, especially the dipping sauce. I'm addicted to durian. If it's pickled raw, it won't be as delicious as the Chaoshan ones hahahahahahaha. However, I am very satisfied with any photo taken on the roadside. Eating, drinking, shopping and having fun is just a leisure vacation. #Walk the streets and alleys to find delicious food #Eat, drink and have fun #Global Food and Drink Team #Travel #Thailand #Thailand Travel #Night Market

If you don’t want to queue at Chulalongkorn Night Market, eat here!
Preliminary summary: We arrived at the Chulalongkorn University Night Market around 6pm on Sunday, and we were going to eat at the internet celebrity Mama Noodles as soon as we got off the bus, but! You have to wait until 8 o'clock🕗 to eat, there are too many people queuing! Our choice: give up this one decisively and choose a store without queuing! Which one is the Chosen One? Picture 4: This one! What does this restaurant sell? We ordered the hot pot that every table ordered🍲. We chose the crispy pork hot pot, which has noodles. As shown in p1 and p2, is this restaurant delicious? We ordered the crispy pork hot pot and longan water. Frozen black tea, no one is disappointed. The crispy pork hotpot is based on Tom Yum Kung soup, the longan water is also very sweet, and the frozen black tea is Thai style. Is this restaurant expensive? One hotpot ➕ two drinks 🟰449 baht. How to get to this restaurant along Little Boy Milk Street Walk 50 meters straight on the main road and you will arrive. Summary: This restaurant feels as good as Mama Noodles, and the queue time is very short. It only took us 2 minutes from getting our order to being seated #chulalongkorn university food street
