#HongKongTravel Chukfo Taipan Restaurant (Wan Chai) is a roast goose and roast pork restaurant that has been very popular in the past 2-3 years. The restaurant is clean, air-conditioned, and not very big. When I went, the restaurant was full of people. However, the staff were attentive and provided good service. They gave us a queue number and let us wait for about 15 minutes before we got a seat. If there are not many people, we have to sit together at a table. There were 2 of us, so we had to sit together with other Hong Kong people. However, we each ate separately, so it was not cramped at all. 🍜For the food, we ordered a set of roasted pork and roasted goose called D18 Roasted Goose w/ Four Treasures Rice. This dish has roasted pork, crispy pork, roasted goose, sausage, and salted egg, served with rice. However, we chose noodles in the soup instead of rice. We actually asked for more noodles in the soup, but the staff misunderstood and changed it to noodles instead of rice. It tasted delicious. I don't know what kind of noodles it is. I showed you the picture because most of the menu is in Chinese. However, the staff also showed us an English menu. However, it did not have all of the menu items in the restaurant. It was okay because we intended to eat roasted pork, crispy pork, and roasted goose anyway. The taste of the food was delicious and a little salty. The roast pork and crispy pork are very juicy. The goose is also okay. The amount is quite large. It is just enough for 2 people to be full. You can save your stomach for eating at other restaurants. Directions Ⓜ️ Take the MTR to Wan Chai Station (Blue Line) Exit A3. Exit the station and open the map. You can walk there. It is about 400 meters away. 🚌But for us, we took the City Bus from the Transformer Building. We took the 722 bus and got off at the Old Wan Chai Police, Gloucester Road stop. I want to review a restaurant in Hong Kong that we visited in mid-2024. 📍Chukfo Taipan Restaurant, delicious crispy pork, good roast duck, not expensive. 📍Basao Tea, the best matcha green tea. 📍Guzzle Sandwich, a sandwich that gives a lot of food. This shop is near the hotel where we stayed. 📍Mou Mou Club is a shabu shop that we like very much, the pork is soft and melts in your mouth. 📍A noodle shop that has been awarded Michelin for 5 consecutive years, but we can't remember the name. It's next to the famous Australia Dairy. Their shrimp dumplings are so-so. 📍Mammy Pancake is as delicious as its reputation. Their tea is really good. You have to order it less sweet because they don't make it sweet. 📍Dim Sum Here, this shop is also near our accommodation. The price is cute. The taste is good. If there are not many people, you have to sit together at a table. There were 4 of us and we got 1 table. The crispy pork was delicious and a little salty. The roast pork was very juicy. The goose and chicken were also okay. The portions were quite large. All of this cost around 3xx hkd. The staff in the restaurant were welcoming and found us a seat. They recommended the menu. They have an English menu with pictures. If anyone is passing by, I recommend stopping by to try it.

At this restaurant, you can expect queues up to an hour because of how good their food is. The specialty here is their extremely juicy roast goose, roasted pork belly and sweet char siew. Portions here are huge, making it valued for money. For HKD88, you can get their roast goose and 4 treasures rice set, it consist of all their signature roast meats and a salted egg with rice - which mean you get to try everything in a single meal. Chukfo Taipan restaurant is a good quality no frills shop, and despite its long queue, the food is pretty much worth the wait!
