The Chongqing zoo is located in the southern part of the city in Jiulongpo District. You can take the subway to the zoo by riding Line 2 and getting off at the Chongqing Zoo station. The zoo has an extensive dinosaur exhibit that includes several interactive experiences! My son got to “ride” a dinosaur which he thought was the coolest thing ever! The zoo is massive, covering over 110 acres of land so be prepared to walk! There are many stairs and in some cases you will need to walk up 5 or more flights to get to certain exhibits. Our favorite exhibit was by far the Panda enclosure! The pandas were very active and the way the enclosure is set up it’s impossible to have a bad view!
