Ticket Information
- Peak Season (January to November): CNY 25/person
- Off-Season (December): CNY 20/person
- Free admission for children aged 6 (inclusive) and under, and children under 1.2m (inclusive) in height
- Minors aged 6–18 (inclusive) and full-time undergraduates and students below that level can purchase half-price tickets with a valid ID.
- Seniors aged 60–65 can enjoy half-price tickets with a valid ID.
Opening Hours
- 8:00–18:00 daily (last entry at 16:30)
Getting There
- By car: Navigate to the parking lot at the East Gate 1 of Chongqing Zoo.
- By bus: Take bus routes 419, 413, 454, or 479 and get off at the Zoo Station.
- By subway: Take subway Line 3 and get off at the Zoo Station, then walk 5 minutes to East Gate 2.
Travel Tips
1. **Panda House**: The Panda House in Chongqing Zoo is a must-visit, with the largest number of pandas in the country, making it a popular choice for visitors.
2. **Herbivore Area**: Includes the Elephant House, Giraffe House, Kangaroo Park, Zebra House, Hippopotamus House, Rhinoceros House, Nyala House, Antelope House, and Deer Park.
3. **Other Animal Exhibition Areas**: Such as the Carnivore Area, Bird Exhibition Area, Lesser Panda House, Goldfish House, Amphibian and Reptile House, Bird Paradise, and Penguin House.
4. **Children's play area**: Suitable for families and children.
Suggested Route
- East Gate 2 (close to the subway station) → Panda House → Goldfish House, Amphibian and Reptile House, Bird Paradise → Lesser Panda House → Birds → Comprehensive Animal House → Cute Animal Area → Waterfowl Lake → Orangutan and Monkey House → Bear Mountain → Lion → Tiger Mountain → Bears, Wolves, Leopards → Rhinoceros, Hippopotamus, Deer Park → Zebra, Elephant, Giraffe → Kangaroo, Alpaca, Antelope → Exit (East Gate 2)

- Do not feed the animals, litter, or cut in line. Ensure children's safety.
- There are several dining areas in the zoo offering a wide selection of food.
- There are also several souvenir shops in the park selling animal-related merchandise.
