📅 Itinerary Day1：with the daily update from Trip.com. I managed to secure a cheaper flight from Singapore to Chongqing saving me $50 dollars which I can utilise to pay for 1 night stay plus a meal. Do download Alipay App and linked to your local youtrip or Instarem card so you can use the Alipay App to take the Metro and don’t have to waste time Q#chongqing to buy train tickets. It is really useful. Train ticket cost like RMB$2-4. Super affordable. I also took a Metro from airport to my hotel which cost me only RMB$6. The CBD besides offering a glance the financial district, it also allows you to stroll along the riverside which is absolutely stunning. Nothing much to suggest in terms of food within the CBD though. Better off to eat once you are done with the area. The suggested sightseeing position for Jiangbeizui CBD is on the other bank of the river - Hongyadong. Do stay till dark as it offered the colourful night scene illuminated by lights which drew a high degree of interests from the day. 🏨 Accommodation Hidden Time River View Hotel.CNY955.12 for 4 nights. That’s only $43 a night in SGD. Huge spacious and king sized bed with daily amenities. 🍴 Food Recommendations Not much interesting food to suggest in this area. 📌 Tips Wait for price to drop while Booking and searching for flight. Take a transit if it cheaper and with transit that doesn’t waste much time for another flight to destination. I took Air China flight w transit w baggage direct to destination $275.31 and then a direct flight back to Singapore $170.45. That’s a lot cheaper than a return flight w 20kg check in luggage on budget air.
