It is located on the Woyun Hill on the north bank of the Yuncheng Salt Lake. Facing south, with the mountain behind and the water in front, you can overlook the salt lake and the beautiful scenery of Zhongtiao in the distance.Li Yu, Emperor Daizong of the Tang Dynasty, named the Salt Pond God Lingqing Gong and built the Lingqing Gong Temple, which is the predecessor of the Earth God Temple. The temple was rebuilt in the 14th year of Jiajing in the Ming Dynasty. The main building complex includes the mountain gate and the hall in the front, three parallel stages in the middle, and the east and west side halls and courtyards, and three halls in the back, all of which have double-eaved, nine-ridged, ten-animal hip roofs, carved beams and painted buildings, which are exquisite and spectacular.
