I saw the southern part of Italy briefly with my parents on a day trip from Rome~! I got motion sickness from the long bus ride and it was so regrettable, and I kept thinking about it, so I came back thinking that I should definitely come back for a longer trip next time😊 It was a really great choice😂 Since I came during the peak season almost spontaneously, all the good accommodations were full and only expensive ones were left, so I stayed at Castellammare Station near Sorrento and went back and forth, and that was also pretty good😊 On the first day, I got off at the airport and went to downtown Naples for a bit, then passed by the beach near my accommodation and looked around Sorrento🥰 I ate a lot of lemon sorbet ice cream😂😂 #couple #hot place #Italy #southern #Sorrento #travel food

#Overseas Travel I really like this small seaside town Sorrento in the south. It is full of leisurely atmosphere. We came to this restaurant Ristorante O Parrucchiano Sorrento for lunch. It is located in the city center of Sorrento. As soon as you enter the door and go up the stairs, you will see the restaurant's large garden and lemon grove in front of you, which is full of surprises. We sat in the restaurant garden which was very pretty with lots of lemon trees and other flowers. A serving of Linguine ai due nemici (polpo e riccio), an octopus and sea urchin linguine, is full of freshness and will leave you with an unforgettable aftertaste. My friend ordered seafood pasta, which was also very good. After lunch, I sit in the garden and relax. I like to have free time. Our honeymoon along the Amalfi Coast was one of the most unforgettable experiences we’ve ever had. We arrived in Rome and took a train to Naples before meeting our driver at the station. From there he drove us to Amalfi where we met the owner of the apartment we rented. Then we took an exhilarating and lovely boat ride to our holiday apartment at Conca Dei Marini, a small town nestled in the along cliffs of the Emerald Grotto. We wanted to stay away from the crowded provinces so Conca Dei Marini, with its lovely quiet beach was perfect! There were a few quaint restaurants along the beach serving fresh seafood and pasta so it was not hard for us, food wise even though we were a boat ride away from all the action. It was a little piece of heaven and our apartment overlooked the beach and the sea which was so amazing. This beautiful paradise was our base while we explored the coast and it was convenient to get a boat from Conca to Amalfi, where you can get ferry tickets to other popular spots like Positano and Sorrento. The Italian summer is blazing hot so wear light clothing and comfortable shoes because these cobblestoned hilly paths and steps can be quite a challenge to city folks like us. Maybe this is also why the Italian senior citizens we saw looked so fit and healthy! It was really good exercise especially after consuming all the delicious pasta and pizzas. We did however hire a private driver for a day trip to Pompeii as we know that it would be a physically draining day. It cost us a pretty penny but it was worth it as we could get a lovely glimpse of the other coastal towns on our drive back to our apartment. We ate so much during our stay because everything was so fresh and delicious. The anchovies we had were one of the highlights of our culinary experience, as well as the pizza at Naples, of course. I visited it especially in the evening, and it was full of people under the colorful lights, which made for a great atmosphere. There are many restaurants and cafes around the square, so it's a great place to spend time. I also spent an evening at one of them. I ordered a beer with fresh risotto, and it was really delicious. After eating, I walked around the square to enjoy the atmosphere, and I was able to enjoy various street performances. If you go to Sorrento, be sure to visit the cozy Tasso Square in the evening!

📍Sant'Antonio Bistro, Sorrento It's a cafe in Piazza Sant'Antonio. The building had a pretty exterior, and the chandelier and clean interior were also pretty. The coffee was delicious, but the lemon bread I ordered was hard and hard to eat. It seems to be run by a married couple, and both of them were very kind. #EmotionalCafe
