Munakata Taisha: A Night Under the World Heritage Stars.
During the Tanabata Festival, children hang strips of paper with their wishes on bamboo branches. My son asked, 'Will the Cowherd and Weaver Girl peek at them?' As we strolled along the path late at night, you shone a flashlight towards the treetops and said, 'Look, the spirits are winking through the leaves.' Lying on the grass in the sacred forest, my daughter fell asleep after counting the 83rd shooting star, still clutching a ginkgo leaf she picked up as a 'divine fortune.' In the morning light, when the shrine maiden handed us a charm for good relationships, my child said, 'Our whole family is already bound together!'

☾︎Fukuoka☽︎ Enjoy fresh seafood and BBQ.ᐟ.ᐟ
🦪Genkai Yokocho
A seafood and BBQ restaurant directly connected to Kamiminato Beach🦪🐟
It is a sister restaurant of the neighboring Genkai Ryokan, and the seafood bowls are made at the Genkai Ryokan.
Thanks to that, it takes a little time, but you can eat authentic bowls✨️
You can choose from a variety of fresh seafood from nearby waters for the BBQ, and the sashimi and charcoal grilled food were delicious🫧
The restaurant also has rental floats and life jackets, a water play area for children, and a festival area, so it's convenient for families to stop by after playing in the sea💎💛

[Fukuoka] World Heritage Site ✨ "Munakata Taisha Shrine" ⛩️
Munakata Taisha Shrine has only been designated a World Heritage Site for a few years now⛩️
It was the end of the year, so there were few people, but when I stepped inside, I felt a certain dignity in the air😆
And that's because it's one of the oldest shrines in Japan that appears in Japanese mythology and has a long history❗
I went to visit a little early for the new year🙏
It's quite far from Fukuoka City, so it's difficult to get there by public transportation😖I recommend visiting by rental car😄

Genkai National Park! Totoro Forest🟢
I visited when I took a drone shot of Keya no Ohto.
The moment I entered, I felt a Ghibli-like feeling in the tunnel of trees.
The photos taken from the entrance have a nice Totoro atmosphere, but
I also recommend going inside the tunnel and taking a photo facing the entrance.
I was really healed because I could hear the swaying sounds of trees, the voices of birds, and the sounds of waves.

Munakata Taisha Shrine
It was registered as a World Heritage Site in 2017, and is a shrine with a long history. It has a long history and is one of the oldest shrines in Japan that appears in Japanese mythology, giving it a dignified atmosphere.
The three goddesses of Amaterasu Omikami are enshrined at Okitsumiya, Nakatsumiya, and Hetsumiya,
and to be precise, these three shrines are collectively called Munakata Taisha.
The second and third shrines are also nearby, so you can visit them.
The Takamiya Shrine, where it is said that the gods descended, was a sacred place with a very solemn atmosphere.
The amulet there (votive plaque?) was a rare warifu-mamori.
It is a wooden amulet that you write your name and wish on, and then split in half.
You can hang one half at the shrine and take the other half home as a talisman.
Takamiya Shrine is about a five-minute walk from Hetsumiya, but it is also famous as a power spot, so please be sure to check it out.

[Fukuoka Shrine] A lovely shrine located at the back of an alley
Marishi Shrine
1-6-16 Togo, Munakata City, Fukuoka Prefecture
0940-36-5064
This is a shrine I stopped by on a trip to Fukuoka.
According to an ancient legend, it was founded in the fifth year of the Shucho era,
when Akie, the Munakata lord at the time, worshipped Ame-no-Minakanushi-no-Okami, the god of heaven and earth creation, and Katsuragi Ichinotoshi-no-Okami, who had been worshipped since the Middle Ages, in Tonogo, the center of the county, and it was said that it began to be called Marishi Shrine, as it was considered to be the god of victory and bravery (Marishiten).
Marishi-no-Okami is the god of victory who competes and overcomes disasters.
Marishi means heat haze majesty. As a god of heaven, he has the power of supernatural powers, and nothing can defeat him. If you believe in this god, you will have the same power as this god.
He is said to be the god of victory in competitions, elections, exam success, and eradication of disease.

I ordered 150g of hamburger steak, but it was a big portion and came out on a sizzling hot plate 🔥
I could choose the sauce, so I went with Japonaise sauce and Demi-glace sauce.
I personally found the Japonaise sauce too sweet, so I preferred the demi-glace 😋
The crab cream croquette and hamburger steak came with a small hamburger steak, so I was very satisfied because I wanted to eat both 🙆
The crab cream croquette and hamburger steak were fluffy and delicious 😋
It came with miso soup and a large serving of rice (salad with the hamburger steak), so I was full until dinner 🐷🍚

there was even a parfait🍨

and plenty of fresh Amaou,
I was very satisfied🥰
The kids' crepes, which can be enjoyed up to junior high school students,

While traveling in Fukuoka, I went to a shop I had been interested in, located in the grounds of a shrine✨
The shop has just opened.
There were four types of lunch, but it seems that they make different things depending on the day🤔
I ordered the bagel and steamed vegetables🥬
Shimeji mushrooms, king oyster mushrooms, broccoli, sweet potatoes, lotus root, pumpkin, and pork!
I eat it with salt or bagna cauda sauce 🥰
My daughter doesn't like spicy food, but she said it wasn't too spicy
so we chose the koji curry 🍛
Both are very healthy and full of vegetables and are delicious!
Add 600 yen to get a set of sweets and a drink.
I got the pistachio cheesecake,
and my daughter got the koji cream puffs ♡
These cream puffs are box-shaped! Cute ✨

This is an old-style cafe that I visited on a trip to Munakata City, home to Munakata Taisha, the god of road safety.
It is located within the grounds of Marishi Shrine in Munakata.
This restaurant serves gluten-free bagels and healthy food made with koji.
▫️ Rice flour bagel and steamed local vegetables 1200yen▫️ Spice koji curry lunch 1350yen
The koji curry is mild but has a strong flavor🍛It is not too spicy, and I mixed it with an egg🍳The rice flour bagel and steamed local vegetables were steamed and served hot and fluffy, which was very satisfying🥰The steamed vegetables were also very delicious. There was a nice room in the back, and it was a very nice old-style cafe. I'm happy that I can buy bagels and other things for takeout☺️It seems to be a sister store of "Mamekome," a bakery that uses rice flour in Miyawaka City🍞@mamekomekomekopanThank you for the meal🐱

[Munakata] 🇯🇵 Yakiniku Tobigyu Munakata branch
This time, I will introduce a delicious yakiniku restaurant in Munakata!
This is a yakiniku restaurant with private rooms, so you can eat without worrying about others!
This time, I tried various cuts of meat, and they were very delicious with plenty of fat!
I think this is a restaurant that yakiniku lovers should visit at least once, but it is open from the evening, so please go there for dinner!

100 Small and Beautiful Coffee Shops | NO.82 "muna" ✨
#福冈景点 In the hustle and bustle of the city, cafes always give people a quiet place. The "muna" I want to share today is located at 1-4-16 Nishikaigan, Moji-ku, Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan.
We often wonder, why do we go to a cafe? Is it to taste that cup of fragrant coffee☕ or to take photos and check in to leave beautiful memories? Or is it to seek a little relaxation in a busy life, or to wait for someone, work, or talk about things?
There are a wide variety of cafes in the city, each with its own characteristics. And "muna" may have a unique charm that attracts people to step into it. Maybe it’s the store’s decoration style, maybe it’s the barista’s friendly smile, or maybe it’s the cups of carefully crafted coffee.
No matter what reason you come to the cafe, I hope you can find your own comfort and satisfaction in "muna". If you are also in Fukuoka, why not go to this small but beautiful cafe and feel its unique atmosphere!
