「北京奧林匹克公園旁中共歷史展館」:百年奮鬥歷程,深入瞭解中國共產黨,適合黨史愛好者和遊客
The Exhibition Hall of the History of the Communist Party of China is an unforgettable visiting experience. This exhibition hall, located next to the dragon-shaped water system in Beijing Olympic Park, officially opened on June 18, 2021. It is a public institution directly under the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee.
The architectural design of the exhibition hall is full of meaning. The overall design is in the shape of a Chinese character "工", which means that the Communist Party of China is the vanguard of the Chinese working class. There are 28 columns on the east and west sides, symbolizing that it took 28 years for the Communist Party of China to establish the People's Republic of China. A 600-square-meter huge lacquer painting "Ode to the Great Wall" is displayed in the exhibition hall's lobby, vividly depicting the scene of the Great Wall winding through the mountains.
The exhibition hall has a rich collection of cultural relics, with 4,548 pieces (sets) of cultural relics on permanent display, including 420 original national first-class cultural relics. Visitors can experience the 100-year struggle of the Communist Party of China on the 3,400-meter exhibition line, with major historical events from the founding of the Party, the Agrarian Revolution, the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the War of Liberation, to the founding of New China and reform and opening up, all displayed before their eyes.
On the square on the west side of the exhibition hall, there stand five groups of sculptures, namely "Flag", "Faith", "Great Cause", "Attack" and "Dream Chasing". They were jointly created by many well-known art schools. They are magnificent and awe-inspiring.
In general, the "Exhibition Hall of the History of the Communist Party of China" is a revolutionary museum that integrates history, culture, and art, providing visitors with a rare opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of the century-long struggle of the Communist Party of China.
