Zibo Ceramic Glaze Museum
After touring Zhoucun in Zibo, enjoying barbecue, visiting the People's Park, one must also visit several museums to make the trip worthwhile.
Zibo is rich in glazed pottery, which can be said to be the hometown of glaze.
Thus, on the third day, before leaving Zibo, we came to the Zibo Ceramic Glaze Museum for a visit.
The grand Glaze Museum has four floors. Starting from the first floor, we earnestly viewed each level, and were amazed by each one.
The Ceramic Glaze Museum is a large public welfare class museum built by the Zibo Municipal Government. It is currently a national first-class museum, a national science education base, a national 4A-level tourist attraction, an industrial tourism demonstration site, and a Shandong Province intangible cultural heritage...
China's ceramic art technology has a long history, with generations of ceramic masters widely disseminating the exquisite skills of ceramic artists, further promoting the glory of China's ceramic art.
Looking at each and every exquisite piece of ceramic art, one feels almost too captivated to move on.
Zibo not only has barbecue but also many places worth strolling and visiting.

An Eye-Opening Experience | Shandong Zibo | Ceramic Glaze Museum (A Flourishing Display of Chinese Porcelain)
| Shandong Zibo | Ceramic Glaze Museum (A Flourishing Display of Chinese Porcelain). The Zibo Ceramic Glaze Museum is a state-owned museum within the cultural relics system, housing a total of 25 exhibition halls, including 12 ceramic halls, 5 glass (glaze) halls, 5 comprehensive halls, and 3 temporary exhibition halls.
Unit Three • A Flourishing Display of Chinese Porcelain
The ancient porcelain hall showcases Zibo kiln masterpieces from the Song Dynasty such as raindrop glaze, tea-dust glaze, hare's fur glaze, black glaze with rust streaks, and twisted body porcelain, offering a glimpse into the peak prosperity of the Zibo kiln; contemporaneous black Ding bowls, Ge kiln bowls, and shadow blue porcelain allow you to look across the major kilns nationwide and experience the culture of Chinese porcelain.

The Third Wave of the China Ceramic Glaze Museum
Why is there a third wave? Because I didn't finish visiting on the first day and went again the second day I went to the Glaze Museum in Zibo once and took four to five hundred photos. There are so many interesting things that since I couldn't take them with me, I put them all in an album
This article, in addition to posting photos, will also introduce the layout of the Glaze Museum, which spans from B1 to the 5th floor. B1 is the Ceramic Glaze Cultural Experience Center and the underground parking lot, which I didn't visit because I parked my car above ground; I also didn't visit the 5th floor, which is the office management area. Visiting floors 2, 3, and 4 was enough to spend time browsing.
The second floor has the Ancient Porcelain Hall, National Kiln Hall, Demonstration Hall, Qi Style Hall, and Qi Rhyme Hall. The third floor has the High Technology Hall, Pottery Art Hall, Five Colors Hall, National Essence Hall, Splendor Hall, and New Brilliance Hall. The fourth floor has the Collection Hall, Donation Hall, Haidai Hall, Architecture and Garden Hall, International Hall, and Modern Glass Hall. Each hall's exhibits closely follow the theme of the hall's name, and visiting different halls will show you different styles of exhibits, dazzling and allowing you to experience the long and profound culture within each exhibition hall. The museum is also quite crowded on weekends.
The museum also intersperses some cultural and creative markets and stores as places to sell cultural and creative products and for stamping and checking in, where you can buy some souvenirs.
Finally, I recommend it, giving the Glaze Museum high marks!
