Sometimes, visiting an art museum is a great idea.
One of the joys of traveling abroad is visiting art museums. Encountering unique art that you can only see there refreshes the soul. This time, I would like to introduce the National Museum of Korea in Seoul. It has exhibited Korean artworks from ancient to modern times, as well as artworks from around the world. Among them, the most eye-catching are probably the Korean crafts. The statues and pots are somehow different from those in Japan. The approach and perception of the subjects differ between Korea and Japan, and this difference is reflected in the sculptures. By understanding such unique cultures and acknowledging our differences, we can build good relationships. Besides Buddhist-related items, there are also intricately crafted items and some inexplicable ones that make you smile. Encountering such items is one of the pleasures of visiting art museums.
