The sea of golden needle flowers on Chike Mountain
Chihke Mountain, also known as Chihke Mountain, is located in Yuli Township, Hualien County, Taiwan, with an altitude of about 900 meters. Taiwan got its name from the Chiko trees planted on the mountains during the Japanese colonial period. At that time, the Japanese cut down the hard Chiko trees and sent them to Japan to be made into gun stocks. Today, the mountain is planted with daylilies, and is as famous as the Sixty-stone Mountain in Fuli Township. The large-scale cultivation of daylilies here began after the August 7 flood in 1959. It was first developed by immigrants from Chiayi. Originally, it was only used as an economic crop, but later it gradually attracted tourists due to the beautiful scenery during the flowering season. Located at an altitude of about 900 meters, the unique soil and climate make Yuli Town the cradle of the abundant production of golden needle flowers.
There is a place called "Little Switzerland" in Chike Mountain, mainly because of the rows of beautiful Cryptomeria fortunei. Looking from a distance, it does have the atmosphere of Swiss mountain scenery. The beautiful golden needle flowers and lush forests are the charming part of Chike Mountain. The view of the golden needle flowers on Chike Mountain is really beautiful and the view is great. Many farm owners have also arranged the farm very attentively, allowing tourists to take rich and diverse photos of flowers and people.
The graceful arc of the hills and the sea of golden daylilies all over the mountains form a beautiful golden scenery. This is the heart-warming and touching beauty! #familytravel
