That's why I always stop by here on the last day of my trip to Taipei to buy some as gifts for my friends and snacks for myself and my family. • Normally, I would go to the open run to buy what I want comfortably, but when I came in the afternoon, there were a lot of people and some popular products didn't have much left. Chia The bakery is voted as the top 3 best pastries in Taipei. The shop is always crowded with tourists. I usually will take a taxi from the ximending area and reach here. One way taxi is 200twd. If you want to take a train from ximending train station, you have to take it to the Nanjing sanmin train station and walk 7 minutes to reach it. The best time to reach there is by 830am as the crowd starts to form from 9am onwards. My favourites is the milk biscuit and the sun biscuit. I also love their pineapple tarts with salted egg yolk. The date of expiry is printed on the package. The pineapple tart can keep for a month, while the one with egg yolk can only be stored in a cool area for 14 days. The milk biscuit, sun biscuit, and the almond biscuit can be kept for a month. There are various other tarts including the longan, prune, walnut, etc. This is the bakeries shop that you must visit if you want to try Taiwan authentic sun biscuit and pineapple tarts. #bucketlistreboot

As always, we will buy them on the last day in the morning, as our flight would usually be in the afternoon. The taxi fare is about 250 twd. It would be more worth to take a taxi as we have 4 person. The shop was always crowded with tourists. Since the pastries are perishable foods, we have to finish them as fast as 10 days.
