Trendy Seafood Restaurant, a Variety of Set Meal Dishes
Restaurant: Trendy Seafood Restaurant (Cheung Chau)
Address: Shop C, G/F, 13 North Social Housing Road, Cheung Chau
Apart from mango glutinous rice dumplings and giant fish balls, seafood is also a must-try when visiting Cheung Chau😋. During the Easter holidays, Cheung Chau can get quite crowded. After disembarking, head to the restaurant to fill your stomach. From the pier, turn left and walk along the coast to find this bustling Trendy Seafood Restaurant🐟. The restaurant occupies several areas, most of which are outdoor seating⛱️. It's quite chill to enjoy the seafood while not too hot, with the sea breeze💨 and the beautiful seascape of Cheung Chau🍃.
In addition to the menu, you can also buy fresh seafood from the adjacent fish stall and have the restaurant cook it for you. You can choose from various cooking styles such as steamed, braised, stir-fried, etc.✌️, and there are also meat stir-fries, vegetables, and fried noodles and rice.
The set lunch starts at $188, and you can choose from dozens of seafood dishes, ranging from 2-12 dishes📝. Of course, some require an additional charge. This time, I ordered 2 dishes for a favorable price of $188, which also included a complimentary corn and fish maw soup and bok choy. There is an additional service charge on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, but it's worth it👍🏽.
✝️Seafood Tofu Pot
If you want to taste a variety of seafood at once, this seafood pot is perfect😉. It contains shrimp, squid, and fish fillets, and when served, there is a burst of fresh aroma🌊. The tofu is lightly fried on the outside, remaining soft on the inside, and is served with a generous portion of celery, straw mushrooms, ginger, and scallions.
✝️Ginger and Scallion Braised Chicken
The chicken served in a hot pot is aromatic. Although some pieces were not fully cooked and had a bit of blood🤏, the meat was still tender and delicate after marinating and braising, and very flavorful🍗. The onions, ginger, and scallions are stir-fried until fragrant before being added to the pot, making the dish full of wok hei. Each piece of chicken is covered with a savory and appetizing sauce, making it perfect with rice🍚.
