Recommended way to travel from the airport to Chengdu city
#TravelChina
Most international airlines land at Chengdu Tianfu Airport, which is about 1 hour from the city center. The most convenient and economical way to get into the city is by airport bus.
After we have received our luggage, follow the signs to the exit. When you come out, you will see many signs. Follow the sign that says GTC (Ground transportation Center). Walk a short distance and there will be a separate door to the airport bus station.
The bus costs 15 yuan and takes about 1 hour. Pay the fare via the WeChat app. There are many destinations to choose from depending on the line, but the most popular line is Line 1 to Chunxi Road and Line 4 to Chengdu East Railway Station.

Review of Chengdu Tianfu International Airport departure
For those who have never been there, this should be useful.
1. When you arrive at the airport, you will be asked to scan your bags once before entering.
2. Tax refund is very complicated. Not many people do it. We have to check in to get a boarding pass first because the tax refund counter is in Customs where you have to scan your boarding pass to enter. When you enter, you have to submit the form that the shop gave you along with your items. I don't know about other people, but the items we bought were suitcases. The officers checked them very carefully. After they stamped the bag, they followed us out to check it in. They didn't let us carry it on the plane.
3. When you go through Customs, they will check your passport, take a photo, and then go to the Security check, which is very detailed again. You have to show your power bank. If it's over 30,000 baht, you have to ask for a certificate from the airport before you can take it or else you have to throw it away. After that, you have to go to Immigration to go inside.
4. There are not many restaurants inside the gate. There are 4 restaurants: KFC, Pho, Chinese food and Starbucks. There is also a business and first class lounge.
5. The duty free section only has cigarettes, alcohol and cosmetics. If you are thinking of buying snacks or souvenirs, there are none. Buy them from outside so you don't make the same mistake as us.
6. The airport toilets are clean.

Chengdu Tianfu International Airport Terminal 1 Review
#AirportReview
Chengdu Tianfu Airport is an international airport about 50 km from downtown Chengdu. You can take a bus, taxi, or train to get into the city. The airport has 2 terminals. Terminal 1 is for international travel, while Terminal 2 is for domestic travel.
We traveled back to Thailand using Terminal 1. The bus stopped at the first stop and got off right away. The airport is quite spacious. There were not many people using the service. When you enter, you will see the check-in counter. After that, you go through immigration to travel abroad.
In front of the gate, there are many restaurants, convenience stores, souvenir shops, and vending machines for drinks and snacks. The prices are not expensive.

Chengdu Tianfu International Airport Terminal 2 Review

Review of Terminal 2, Chengdu Tianfu International Airport
Domestic flight
📍Address: Lujia Town, Jianyang, Chengdu, Sichuan, China
🗓️Travel planning: This airport is nearly 60 kilometers away from the city center. If you travel by car during traffic jams, it will take about 1 hour and 30 minutes, or take the subway for about 1 hour, excluding the time to change lines and stations.
🛫 Inside Terminal 2, the walking distance is quite far and there are quite a lot of passengers. There are many baggage check points. Some people may have to check several times. If there is a lot of luggage and items that need to be checked again, it depends on the discretion of the airport staff. Please check the time carefully (* otherwise you may miss the flight. Referring to the actual situation that happened this time)

🗓️Travel Planning: This airport is located almost 60 kilometers from the city center. If there is traffic, it takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes by car, or about 1 hour by subway, not including transfer and station walking time.
💞Recommended Reason: If your destination requires a layover of more than 6 hours on a late-night flight, you can email Sichuan Airlines to request a free hotel stay at the Holiday Inn Express Chengdu Tianfu Airport Zone. The staff provides excellent service with a smile.

Chengdu Tianfu International Airport Review
📍Address: Lujia Town, Jianyang District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, China
🗓️Travel planning: It is a large and spacious airport. It is an important airport for connecting cities of many cities and countries. Terminals 1 and 2 are opposite each other, but the walking distance is very far. Anyone who comes to check in should come 3 hours in advance.
**In more than 200 days, Chengdu will host The World Games 2025.

Review of Tianfu Airport Terminal 1, Chengdu Departure 🇨🇳
Review of Tianfu Airport Terminal 1, departing from Chengdu 🇨🇳
After checking in, pass the passport checkpoint
Scan your luggage, quite fast
The restaurant is on the 2nd floor only after passing the baggage scan point. If you walk to the gate, you have to walk back. You can take the escalator or elevator. There are KFC - a restaurant selling stir-fried basil rice, delicious
And 3-4 other restaurants
There are many to choose from at Duty Free, but I personally didn't stop to see if the price was cheaper or more expensive than in Thailand.
The boarding gate is not very far. Along the way, there are cafes to stop by and convenience stores inside. Spend your money before returning to Thailand.
I personally like the layout of this airport.
But it seems like there are few restaurants inside everywhere. If you ask if it's enough to fill your stomach, I think it's okay. At least there's KFC 😬

Travel from Chengdu Airport to Chadianzi Transport by train
Recommend the steps to travel to "Four Girls"
Alone edition by taking the train from the airport
.
Start the trip We traveled from Thailand by China Southern Airlines
landed at Chengdu Tianfu Airport TFU
.
After we passed the immigration checkpoint and got our luggage, walk out and look for the sign that will take us to the Metro
.
Let's ask for a train map to carry with us. This is very useful
.
After that, buy a ticket. But if anyone has a Pass in Alipay, you can use it to scan and enter. No need to buy a ticket, it's confusing
.
1. When entering the station, look for the green line platform (18)
Look for the side that goes to Weijianian. Get on this side and get off at South Railway Station
2. When you arrive at this station, walk along the path to change stations
Look for the sign that points to the blue line (1)
Look for the side that goes to Xipu Railway Station. Get on this side and get off at Chadianzi Bus Terminal Station
Take Exit D. After coming out, cross the road a little bit You will find the bus station right away.
This way of travel costs only 11 yuan or 55 Thai baht and takes about 1 hour.
For those who have already booked a ticket, you can go to the automatic ticket machine.
For those who have not booked a ticket, you can buy it here, but it is recommended to book it because sometimes it may be full.
The bus here leaves on time. The journey takes about 4 hours. There is a stop for restroom, food and drop off at our accommodation door.

Mountain Village Stay | Sichuan
Travel in the mountains of Sichuan province. China is so wonderful in every season. While you visit the city of Chengdu — be sure to make a visit to the countryside.
On my trip in the wilds of Sichuan province I had the experience of visiting a mountain town. The town is quiet and full of more farm animals than people. Hikers and nature enthusiasts will enjoy the rural lifestyle because the mountains are so comforting. Sichuan people love to see the blue sky! Ask them why they love to see the blue sky so much. 🤭❤️
Do you know which animal is famous in Sichuan and Chengdu city? It’s black and white and eats bamboo! 🐼🇨🇳
Join in on a Panda volunteer day-experience at the Wolong Panda Base. Book your overnight stay at the Tipsy Panda Mountain Spring Villa.
The villa is clean and comfortable. There is a buffet breakfast hot ‘n ready. In the winter it’s best to drink hot soup.

While you tour Chengdu city you can also go to see the famous giant Buddha in Le Shan.
You can easily book a ticket for the high speed railway. The travel time is less than one hour. Leshan has famous spicy foods. Be sure to try them on your visit.
The Buddha figure is carved into the mountain side. There are two ways you can view this world wonder. The paths to go are either by foot on a hiking path or by riding a boat along the river.
Around the top of the cliff there is a local temple. Be in respect to the people and the environment. Become a newer version of you when you visit.
I traveled with my friend during my trip. She was local to Sichuan and could share history.
Having an English speaking guide would help foreigners learn of the culture in the area. #localguides
Le Shan is popular for its spicy food dishes. Try out some of their bbq if you can handle the heat! Sichuan spice is a numbing spice. #asiatrip #china #chengdu #成都

Chengdu Tianfu International Airport 成都天府国际机场
This is a very spacious and clean airport that has not been completed for long. I used a domestic flight in China, and it was unique in that it did not separate the arrival and departure floors.
It is also very far from the city. There is a direct bus to Chunxi Road in downtown Chengdu, but if there are many people, you may have to take the next bus, so when going from the airport to Chunxi Road, I recommend taking a direct bus, and when going from Chunxi Road to the airport, taking a taxi to Chengdu South Station on Line 18, and then taking the subway from there on Line 18 to the airport. If you are using Shandong Airlines, Air China, or Shenzhen Airlines, you can check in and send your luggage at the airport subway station instead of the airport check-in desk.

Head towards the newly opened Chengdu Tianfu international airport to relax!!
They have a brand new Starbucks and McDonald’s beside each other. Sometimes there are also random stuffs and pop up stalls opening.
Managed to win these free items upon purchasing items at the tianfu airport.
While the waiting time was short, the mall is relatively empty due to it being new.

TFU Airport. If we are waiting to leave the airport, we can look for a place to sit and stretch our legs to rest while waiting to continue our journey. On top, we walk up and we will find a restaurant and a McDonald's. There aren't many restaurant options. Each point in the airport has a hot-warm water dispenser with paper cups for convenient drinking. For anyone who brings a cup of instant noodles to eat while waiting, you can get hot water from here. It's very convenient.

#Get a discount without relying on luck
Travel to Chengdu Tianfu Airport by airport bus. It is a very economical, convenient and fast way. We took the 10.20 bus (during the day, the bus leaves every 20 minutes). It took about 1.15 hours to arrive at the airport. The bus stop is right under the panda climbing the building. It is very easy to find (on the same side as the panda). The fare is 15 yuan per person, the same as when entering Chengdu. Children under 130 cm are free. When we left the city, there was a little traffic jam, so it took more than 1 hour. When the bus arrives at the airport, it will stop at Terminal 1 first. Let's get off here because Terminal 1 is for international flights. But if anyone gets off at the wrong terminal 2, it's okay because both terminals can be walked to each other. #Travel China by yourself #Travel Chengdu #Chengdu

Enter Chengdu city by airport bus. Cheap, convenient and fast.
#How to get there
The most convenient way to get into Chengdu from Tianfu Airport, which is almost 60 km from the city center, is the airport bus. After getting your luggage, follow the signs for GTC (Ground Transportation Center) and you will see the gate to the airport bus.
There are 5 bus lines in total, but the one we took was line 4 to Chengdu East Railway Station because we had to go to Jiuzhaigou the next day and had to take the train here, so we stayed near this station. If anyone has a place to stay near Chunxi Road, take line 1.
The fare is 15 yuan per person. Scan and pay via WeChat. However, if you arrive late at night between 23:30 and 6:00, the fare is 25 yuan. The journey takes about 1 hour and a bit. The ride is very comfortable, the drive is good, smooth, and the car doesn't smell like cigarettes at all. It is very clean.

The airport we landed at when we arrived in Chengdu, China is Chengdu Tianfu Airport (when booking, some websites will use the name Jiyang). Look for the abbreviation TFU, which is the same airport. It is a very new airport. The restrooms are very clean. There are very few people at the immigration checkpoint, almost no need to wait in line (we arrived at around 2 pm). The baggage claim area is quite spacious and not crowded. The bags arrived quickly, even though we didn't have to wait in line at immigration. When we walked out, the bags were already waiting on the conveyor belt. Inside the building, there are clear signs indicating which way to go, whether to take the metro, bus, or taxi. There are signs on the floor, walls, and hanging signs. You definitely won't get lost. #ChengduAirport #ChengduTravel #ChengduCity

#AirportReview
Just got back from traveling to Chengdu, China, and I would like to review their airport for everyone to see.
This airport is called “chengdu tianfu” (TFU), which is sometimes called Jiyang Airport when booking through the app. We flew with Air China, which had to board at Terminal 1, which is used for international flights, while Terminal 2 is used for domestic flights. The airport is new and not crowded. There are many seats for departure passengers waiting in front of the gate. There are charging points, food and souvenir shops, and duty-free shops, but not many.
There are many bathrooms, one in front of every gate, and they are very clean. This airport is really good. #ChengduTravel #Chengdu #ChengduAirport

Air China from Chengdu to Bangkok
#AirlineReview
Flying with Air China for the first time from TFU-BKK, took a bus to the airport. This airline is located at Terminal 1. Get off the bus, walk to the check-in counter, and head straight in. You can check in 23 kg of free luggage and carry on 5 kg. After checking in, the officer will tell you to stand and watch the inspection of your luggage (on the officer's left side). If your name is not on the screen, after 3 minutes, you can go to the immigration checkpoint for departure. Our flight was at 14:20. On the plane, they served snacks like roti with fillings, yogurt, and many other snacks as shown in the picture. It was very delicious. There were drinks such as plain water, fruit juice, wine, and soft drinks. My daughter fell asleep first. When she woke up, she could ask for fruit juice from the flight attendant. As for the food, the flight attendant will leave it on the table in front of her seat (if anyone falls asleep first). The plane arrived on time. I will definitely use the service again.

Air China review, direct flight from Chengdu to Bangkok
#AirlineReview
Just returned from Chengdu to Bangkok with Air China (CA471) which was a direct flight. So I will review it for everyone to read. We flew back from Tianfu Airport (Jiyang) where we had to check in at Terminal 1 which is the international terminal of this airport. When you enter, there will be a sign saying Air China to check in at Zone C.
We checked in 3 hours before the flight. There were very few people. The staff provided fast service. After checking in and loading our bags, we had to stand and check the baggage scan results at C06. If there is no name on the screen, it means that our baggage is not a problem. If there is, we have to open it for them to see.
The plane was an Airbus A321 with 3x3 seats. The flight attendants spoke Chinese and English. There was 1 meal on the plane. It was Chengdu food, bread with filling. It came hot and tasted okay. There were also 4 small bags of snacks + nuts and yogurt. Water was served later. There were fruit juices, soft drinks, tea, coffee and wine. #ChineseAirlines #ChengduTravel #airchina
