Chengdu People's Park. There always a lot of people. Here you can enjoy walking through the green area. Also this place introduces the story of the Chinese soldiers and regular citizens resistance against Japanese invaders. The underground can show the shelter where civilians took a cover during air bombing. The memorial Stella keeps a memory about those horrible days.
There are also many tables and tents offering different kinds of tea for tired travellers or recreating locals. Why not to take a cap if green tea?

Features:
Park was built in 1911. The park has famous tourist attractions such as Jinshuixi, Jinyu Island and Bonsai Garden. Chengdu People's Park is a comprehensive park integrating gardening, culture, cultural relics protection, patriotic education, leisure and entertainment.
play recommendation:
has come many times, but it is the first time to come to the People's Park. In the afternoon, Chengdu is still a little hot. There are known screams everywhere, suddenly and suddenly, and suddenly weak. It is recommended that the main entrance of the People's Park enter, play clockwise, the park is not big, and it is better to play tea with tea for about 3-4 hours.
Jinshui River passes through the main entrance, to the inner side of the east gate, the bottom of the river is paved with smooth small pebbles, and the stream is made of large pebbles of various sizes.
Or come to the "Pillow Stream Tea Garden", which is one of the historical old tea gardens in the People's Park and the Heming Tea House. The Pillow Tea Society was founded in the early years of the Republic of China. Its original site is in the Haitang Garden on the west side of the Neiqiao Bridge in the gate of the People's Park. The pillow flow tea house covers an area of about 300 square meters, including a floor area of 500 square meters.
Heming Tea House is a sea of people here. I wanted to find a place to rest for a while. I have no choice but to wait for a long time. I suggest that the little friends who like tea should come early.
Practical tips:
Opposite the main entrance of the People's Park is Liao old mother's hoof flower soup, friends who like hoof flowers must not miss it, 30 bowls, plus rice, one person's weight.

I went to Chengdu this time and booked this "tomato" B&B under the recommendation of a friend. It is located near the Chengdu People's Park. The location is very good. No matter how embarrassing the outside world is, it is quite quiet here...
Before the check-in, the housekeeper will send the password and address of the room door to the mobile phone. The layout of the room is very ins, the bedroom, the living room and the bathroom are all available. With the design of the people, the blue is the main color, taking pictures. very nice.
The projection of the large screen, the light is turned off like a private theater, comfortable enough and warm enough.
B&B Name: Chengdu [tomato]
B&B Address: No. 131, West Street, Qingyang District, Chengdu

Travelogue of Chengdu People's Park
I have been to Chengdu several times and visited some places in and around the city. The People's Park, known for its 'Longmen Array' reputation, was my first visit. The weather was exceptionally good on the day I visited the People's Park, as most of the time during the May Day period, Chengdu was either raining or cloudy. On the day of the visit, the weather cleared up, and the sky mirror of sunny Chengdu was very beautiful. While experiencing the slow life of Chengdu, watching the ever-changing clouds was a very comfortable life!
Chengdu People's Park is located at No. 12 Shaocheng Road, Citang Street, in the city center of Chengdu, covering an area of 112,639 square meters. It is the largest open scenic garden historical park in the bustling city center. In Chengdu People's Park, through in-depth communication, one can deeply feel that this is truly a 'people's park' and a rare century-old city garden. Originally named Shaocheng Park, Chengdu People's Park was established in 1911 and is one of the earliest modern parks in China, as well as the first modern park in Sichuan. In the third year of the Xuantong era of the Qing Dynasty (1911), General Yukun, who was stationed in Chengdu, consulted with Zhou Shanpei, the Sichuan Provincial Encouragement of Industry Road, to build a park on Citang Street to open up the city. Only the Bannermen were allowed to do business and make a living in the park, and park entrance fees were collected to allow people to come in and play. At the same time, the paddy fields, wasteland, the front hall of the Zhenglan Banner, stables, warehouses, and the empty spaces of the Yongshun, Yongqing, and Yongji alleys where the Banner people lived behind the Guandi Temple on Citang Street were demolished and relocated. Within half a year, flowers were planted, trees were cultivated, and buildings such as the Yingxi Tower, Guanjia Tower, Songyun Tower, and Lake Heart Pavilion were constructed, covering an area of more than 50 acres. The origin of Shaocheng Park is directly related to the naming of the old Chengdu city walls. The foundation of Chengdu city originally had a distinction between the 'Greater City' and the 'Lesser City.' As early as 311 BC during the reign of King Hui of Qin, Chengdu had both Taicheng (also known as the Greater City) and Shaocheng (also known as the Lesser City).

When do the locust flowers bloom? The locust flowers have finally bloomed
🌿As a child, I was particularly curious about locust flowers, because I always thought they were a plant from the north. Later, in music class, I learned the song 'When do the locust flowers bloom?' and discovered that it was actually a Sichuan folk song❗️I was shocked by my own ignorance🤣
🌿Later, I consciously sought them out and found that Chengdu also has quite a few locust trees. Even the greenways have them❗️
🎋The tender green locust leaves paired with the white, stringed locust flowers are truly a delight to the eye.
🍃The well-known phrase 'a jade tree in the wind' comes from Du Fu's 'Song of the Eight Immortals in Drinking', where Du Fu uses it to describe Cui Zongzhi's dashing and handsome appearance. Some believe that the 'jade tree' refers to the magnolia, while others think it is the locust tree.
🌴Can you actually eat locust flowers❓❗️At first, I thought there was only locust honey, but after a trip to Shanxi, I discovered that locust flowers can be used in cooking and also in medicine. Truly, every part of it is a treasure❗️
🌱Now is the blooming season for locust trees, with strings of white locust flowers adorning the branches, and the air is filled with a light and elegant fragrance, refreshing to the soul.
🍀Indeed, it is as they say—'With the spring breeze comes overnight, the scent of locust flowers carries for miles.'

When cherry blossoms meet the fragrance of 'Qi Li Xiang', when cherry blossoms meet the ancient style
🌸 The evening cherry blossoms have bloomed, adding a touch of pink that brings a soft and charming beauty to the city streets.
🌸 The soft texture of cherry blossom petals is even more refreshing and lovely in the spring breeze.
🌸 Here, the cherry blossoms have the 'Qi Li Xiang' waterfall and the ancient-style corridor as a backdrop, adding a lot of traditional Chinese artistic conception.
🌸 Cherry blossoms and 'Qi Li Xiang' are the most beautiful spirits on the streets of Chengdu in late spring. When they appear at the same time, it is indeed a different kind of scenery.
🌸 The soft pink paired with the fresh green and white is striking and splendid.
🌸 How can I not love such a colorful and vibrant spring?❓❗️

✅ Three-day tour itinerary
🎈Day1: Chunxi Road - Taikoo Li - Wide and Narrow Alley - Night Cruise on Jinjiang River
🎈Day2: Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding - Wenshu Monastery - Wangping Street - East Suburb Memory
🎈Day3: People's Park - Chengdu Museum - Wuhou Shrine - Jinli
📍 Chunxi Road: Similar to Shanghai's Nanjing Road, Chongqing's Jiefangbei, and Beijing's Wangfujing. The place of the internet-famous climbing panda at ifs, on the 7th floor of the mall, better to go in the morning when there are fewer people. Next to it, Taikoo Li has many street photographers and beauties.
📍 Tianfu Square: Located in the very center of Chengdu, it is the symbol of the city.
📍 People's Park: A microcosm of Chengdu's slow pace of life, many locals spend the whole day here, drinking tea, ear picking, playing cards, chatting. Heming Teahouse and Zhong's Dumplings are in partnership, you can have tea and eat Zhong's Dumplings at the same time, 🚩 recommended Zhong's Dumplings and Sweet Water Noodles. There are also performances inside Heming Teahouse.
📍 Wide and Narrow Alley: This ancient Qing Dynasty street composed of Wide Alley, Well Alley, and Narrow Alley is one of the must-experience 'most Chengdu' attractions.
📍 Qingyang Palace: Known as 'the first Taoist temple in West Sichuan', inside the Sanqing Hall are two bronze goats, the one on the left is said to be transformed from the attendant of the Green Emperor. You can also draw lots and have them interpreted in the last San Guan Hall.
📍 Du Fu Thatched Cottage: Du Fu came to Sichuan due to war, and built a thatched cottage and elegant residence by the Huanhua Stream in Chengdu, where he wrote a large number of poems, most of which describe the local scenery and express his feelings and thoughts against the backdrop of his own situation and the social context. The song 'The Thatched Hut Torn Apart by the Autumn Wind' was written in the Chengdu Thatched Cottage.
📍 Wuhou Shrine: It is the only temple in China where a monarch and his ministers are enshrined together and the most famous memorial place for Zhuge Liang, Liu Bei, and the heroes of Shu Han, as well as the most influential Three Kingdoms relic museum in the country. For those interested in the Three Kingdoms, it's worth a visit. The red wall outside is also a popular spot for social media check-ins~
📍 Jiuyan Bridge: The bar street of Jiuyan Bridge is where you can truly feel the charm of the city that Zhao Lei sang about in 'Chengdu'. There are many great Livehouses

People's Park is a landmark park in Chengdu The park is large, with lots of greenery, an artificial lake, and a tranquil environment. It's frequented by many elderly and children. It's a great place to stroll around when you have nothing to do, experiencing the leisurely slow life of Chengdu's residents
Let me tell you about some of the park's features:
1. Matchmaking Corner
Local uncles and aunties worry about their children not finding partners, so there's always a matchmaking corner in the park. I've walked past it several times and seen postings of various successful bosses and even highly educated golden bachelors. You can come and take a look when you have time
2. Heming Teahouse
If you want to experience the most authentic Chengdu culture, you must visit Heming Teahouse in People's Park. Sitting on bamboo chairs, drinking tea, enjoying a comfortable ear-picking, eating special snacks, watching Sichuan opera, and leisurely feeling the slow life of Chengdu's people
3. Children's Amusement Park
The children's amusement park in People's Park should be considered the most nostalgic amusement park in Chengdu. It really has the vibe of an amusement park from the 80s, and it's super photogenic. Although it's a bit old, it doesn't affect the children's mood at all
As for food, there's basically everything you could want to eat around People's Park, and there are also many snacks inside the park, which are very nice.

People's Park
If you go, it is recommended to go early in the morning, it is said that there will not be too many people at this point, we went around 12 o'clock, there are really a lot of people, crowded (I was also shocked, Monday, and we are off the peak of tourism, how can there be so many people
In addition, going early can sit by the lake to have a sense of atmosphere, the photos are super out of the picture;
Heming Teahouse (in the park) The legendary covered bowl tea is not necessary, it is better to order more food haha
Light-colored clothes are for ordering tea; dark blue clothes are for ordering meals;
Zhong Dumplings must be checked in, the dumplings are invincible, really delicious
There is no need for other consumption inside
Colleagues who have been on business trips to Chengdu many times said: It seems that no city enjoys life more than Chengdu. People just sit here, playing cards and chatting can pass the time of the day. Everyone is used to this slow life...

If you’re in #chengdu, I highly recommend visiting People’s Park teahouse. Here you can see the iconic #sichuan face mask show. You’ll be blown away by how quickly the masks are changed. It honestly looks like magic! There are also other acts throughout the show, such as puppets and more. You can also get your ears cleaned! Sounds weird and feels really freaky at first, but you get a shoulder massage and feel really relaxed afterwards. Highly recommended!

Chengdu must not miss Chengdu People's Park. It is a city park where Chengdu people drink tea and leisurely. It is a comprehensive garden integrating cultural relics and entertainment.
From the People's Park Station on Line 2, you will arrive at Chengdu People's Park. As soon as I entered the park, I saw the bustling crowd. The old people were mostly chatting with people around me. I also saw many young couples playing with their children in the park.
People's Park is full of flowers and trees, and many bonsais are placed. Once there is a lush feeling, the sunlight can only shine on the ground from the gaps of the leaves, forming a mottled light spot. After a few steps, I also saw the famous relatives. Many people gathered around the corners, looked at the information of the blind date, and talked with people around them with interest. There are many fat koi in the pond of the courtyard, and when people drop the feed, they splash a splash in the pond.
Going further, you will arrive at Heming Tea House. You can see a lot of quaint bamboo chairs, low tables, and a bowl of tea on the table. It is very old in Chengdu. The tea house was filled with guests, most of them grandfather and grandmother, basking in the sun, leaning on the chair and drinking tea very leisurely, talking with friends happily, very comfortable.
Walk in the park, take a walk, sit in the teahouse with a leisurely cup and cover the bowl of tea, and feed the koi in the courtyard to let you feel the living conditions of the people of Chengdu, and feel the "leisure" "The capital" lifestyle.
Travel Tips: Take Subway Line 2 and get off at People's Park Station.
Travel Notes No. 7.
The 100-year-old Chengdu People's Park will serve as a material and spiritual carrier to store real old Chengdu life. On the working day, the Peoples Park is still crowded with people. The leisurely aunts danced ballroom dancing with joy. The unruly aunts looked at the children in the blind spots, and they were the twin sisters of Shanghai Peoples Park.
In Chengdu, there is a tea house in the downtown area, a tea stall in the alley, a tea house in the park, a tea garden in the university, and a tea house everywhere. The Heming Tea House in the Peoples Park, built on the lakeside, has a hundred years of history, so it is called a hundred years of cranes. It is the oldest and most influential tea house in the main city of Chengdu. Not like other attractions, this is a place where locals and tourists come, licking their ears, drinking bowls of tea, and basking in the sun. This is a place to enjoy the fun, not a place to visit, to control what local, foreign people, together How comfortable playing cards are. The teahouse culture in Chengdu does not drink tea. Drinking is actually an atmosphere a subtle sense of harmony between people. Looking at the sky and clouds in the cup, killing time, timeless meaningless passage has become valuable in this ritual tea.
Chengdu people who are good at enjoying life, they are also linking tea to the ear. Yes, Chengdu people are too lazy to even lick their ears and don't want to do it themselves. This one piece is a comfortable and enjoyable thing. Come to Heming, drink tea, pick ears, or simply sit down for a day. In this city that can make time slow down, you can finally have a corner to let people know what is "less to go, not to go out."

In fact, I came to the Peoples Park. I just wanted to drink a cup of tea from Heming Tea House. So I went looking for it while I was walking, because I didnt see the map, the route was not clear, I could only ask while walking.
The tea set used in traditional teahouses in Sichuan is a three-piece, namely: tea bowls, tea lids and tea boats, so it is often called drinking bowls of tea. The tea boat is the tea tray, and it is used to end the tea bowl to avoid hot hands. The tea lid keeps the water warm, and you can use the lid to move the tea to make the tea overflow and the hot water cools faster. In addition, the tea drinker can open the tea from the gap between the tea bowl and the tea cover when drinking tea.
In fact, the "cover bowl tea" has a deeper meaning: the tea cover is likened to the sky, the tea boat is the ground, the tea cup is a human being, the tea is washed up, and the lid is covered, then there is a "world" The artistic conception of people and. Heming Tea House has a history of 100 years. It is a well-known tea house in the area. Nowadays, it is famous outside, and there are many tourists from other places. All the way, people have finally found it.
The teahouse is very large, one tea. Because Sichuan has abundant bamboo resources, the chairs of the teahouse are made of bamboo. They have backrests and handrails. They can sit and lie down, which is very comfortable. The style of bamboo weaving is very good with the dwarf wooden table.
The teapot that boils water is also very contemporary. The teahouses in Chengdu are always full of people, but from the position of drinking bowls of tea, you can tell whether you are a local or a traveler.
The most authentic method of tea should be: scrape a few times before using the tea, lightly scrape it, lighten it, then thicken it, then cover the lid with a little inclination and put it on the lips. Slowly.

Some people say that the teahouse is a small Chengdu, Chengdu is a big teahouse. Chengdu is famous for its teahouses, tea guests and tea time. Nowadays, the pace of life in Chengdu is much faster, but in the Peoples Park, you can still see many people who drink cups of tea and pose with Longmen array. Enjoy yourself.
People's Park is an open park, formerly known as Shaocheng Park. It was built in 1911 and entered a century-old park. It is like walking into Chengdu's past and present. The origin of Shaocheng Park is directly related to the name of the old city of Chengdu, and the original city of Chengdu is divided into the big city and the small city.
There is a hole in the sky, not only the teahouse, but also the figure of the ear-ear master in the casual corner. It seems that there is a teahouse and it is convenient to have ears. It is not tried in the width, it is bold here. I tried it, very comfortable, I cant wait for the master to give me more meetings, haha.
Follow a small road and march in. On both sides are dense trees, low-hanging branches, and a piece of green on the shoulders.
There are many old people in the park, but there are also many young people. The teahouse is full of people. When the times led the whole society to rush forward, there were some leisurely habits that were preserved by the city.
The artificial lake in the park is the place where the locals spend their summer vacations in the summer, enjoy the boat, and enjoy the scenery. As we walk a few steps along the lake, we will see three or five people sitting next to each other, chatting, Lala Lajia, or just want to come and sit and breathe in the fresh air.

Chengdu People's Park is located in the bustling city center, with Tianfu Square in front and a wide and narrow alley.
The people's park's blind spots are also everywhere, and many people are famous. The "Family of Love" is located in the vicinity of the People's Park Revolution in Sichuan Province, the Baolu Sports Monument. The "Dating Corner" began in 2005 and has a history of more than 10 years.
Here, the younger generation is rarely seen, almost all of them are the battlefields of young parents, using white hair to fight for the happiness of their children.
It is free to have a blind date in the People's Park. It is only charged for listing, 100 for 1 year. I want to be cheaper than other platforms. But the success rate of blind date is not known.

One of the spoken words spoken by Chengdu people is study, comfort, which seems to be faint and faint, but in fact shows the indifference and temperament of Chengdu citizens.
When it comes to the slow life of Chengdu people, it is naturally inseparable from the three most famous hobbies of Chengdu people: drinking tea, playing cards, and eating hot pot. Chengdu people drink tea is universal, people with money and identity are decorated in elegant teahouses, flat people love to choose roadside stalls, a bamboo chair with a cup of tea, spend tens of dollars to chat from day to day Black, and the best place to feel this kind of comfortable life is the Peoples Park.
In Chengdu, as long as there is open space, you can drink tea anywhere; as long as there is water, what kind of tea can be used; as long as there is a mouth, there are endless topics; as long as "suttan" and "easy", "The emperor is not coming to the ship", no matter how old or young, there is the "who said that I am not a tea in the fairy" spirit.
Some people say that the plane can hear the mahjong sound in the city as it passes by.
Other places to treat, at most one meal, Chengdu people treat, one is a day, the farmhouse eats lunch, then the mahjong table is placed, and the night has been hitting the night.
Some people often wonder, Chengdu people know all day long to drink tea, play cards, eat hot pot, then the money is coming? This is exactly what the comrades-in-arms said, "spelling life" and "life life". Chengdu people are not ambiguously spelled out than other places, but they know what it is for such a hard work, knowing how to slow down the pace at the right time, let Take a nap.
I really enjoy the ears.
Foreign visitors will not be bored if they stay here for a long time.
Contentment is always the best, and it is most suitable for Chengdu.

To say that Chengdu is the best place to enjoy the ginkgo, then the Peoples Park is definitely one of them.
People's Park is located in the center of Chengdu, with direct bus and subway access, and the traffic is very convenient.
The key is that the ginkgo here is really beautiful! Recently, the weather in Chengdu is still good, and it is warm in winter. The ginkgo season should be the last week, and it is good to pat the leaves.
